Ramón Otoniel Olivas
Ramón Otoniel Olivas Ruiz (born 28 February 1968) is a Nicaraguan football manager and former player. He now coaches Real Estelí in the Primera División de Nicaragua, Club career During his career he played for Real Estelí for whom he scored 62 goals in 16 years in Nicaragua, Atlético Indio in Honduras and Atlético Marte in El Salvador. He is considered one of the best central defenders to have played in and for Nicaragua. International career Olivas made his debut for Nicaragua in a July 1992 FIFA World Cup qualification match against El Salvador and has earned a total of 11 caps, scoring no goals. He has represented his country in 4 FIFA World Cup qualification matches and played at the 1993, 1995, 1997 and 1999 UNCAF Nations Cups. His final international was a March 1999 UNCAF Nations Cup match against El Salvador. Estelí (), officially Villa de San Antonio de Pavia de Estelí is a city and Municipalities of Nicaragua, municipality within the Estelí Department, Estelí department. It is the 8th largest city in Nicaragua due to the high urbanization of its municipality, at 84.8%, with an urban population of 111,244 (2022 estimate). 2009 UNCAF Nations Cup
The UNCAF Nations Cup 2009 was the tenth edition of the UNCAF Nations Cup, the biennial football (soccer) tournament for the CONCACAF-affiliated national teams of Central America. The first five places qualified for the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The event was going to take place in Panama City, Panama between January 22 and February 1, 2009, but the Panamanian FA announced that they would not host the event due to not having an adequate stadium available for the time period of the tournament. The alternative hosts were Honduras and Guatemala. Honduras submitted an official replacement bid on November 12, and after some consideration it was moved to Honduras. All games were played in Estadio Tiburcio Carías Andino in Tegucigalpa. The tournament was sponsored by Digicel.
