Ready (2008 Film)
''Ready'' is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Srinu Vaitla. Produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under the Sri Sravanthi Movies banner, the film stars Ram and Genelia while Nassar, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Chandra Mohan, Tanikella Bharani, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Jaya Prakash Reddy play other prominent roles. The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. It turned out to be a ''Blockbuster'' at the box-office and was one of the highest grossing Telugu movies of 2008. The film received three Nandi Awards, including the Best Popular Feature Film. It was later remade in Kannada as '' Raam'' (2009), Tamil as '' Uthama Puthiran'' (2010) and in Hindi under the same name in 2011. Srinu Vaitla
Srinu Vaitla (born 24 September 1972) is an Indian film director who works in Telugu cinema. Known for his best film works in the action comedy genre, Vaitla made his directional debut with ''Nee Kosam'' (1999) starring Ravi Teja and Maheswari. His second directorial venture ''Anandam'' (2001) gave him recognition as a director. He went on to direct many Telugu films such as ''Sontham'', ''Venky'', ''Dhee'', ''Dubai Seenu'', ''Ready'', ''King'', ''Dookudu'', and '' Baadshah.'' Kota Srinivasa Rao
Kota Srinivasa Rao (born 10 July 1942) is an Indian character actor known for his work primarily in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He has also starred in a few films in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. As a former politician, Rao has served as the MLA from Vijayawada East in Andhra Pradesh, India from 1999 to 2004. He made his debut with the Telugu film ''Pranam Khareedu'' in 1978. He starred in over 750 feature films. He has received nine state Nandi Awards in various categories of villain, character actor, and supporting actor.
