Raúl García (boxer)
Raúl "Rayito" García Hirales (born September 10, 1982) is a Mexican former professional boxer. He has held the International Boxing Federation, IBF mini flyweight title from June 2008 until March 2010 and World Boxing Organization, WBO mini flyweight title from April 2011 until October 2011. He is the twin brother of former WBO light flyweight champion Ramón García Hirales. Professional career On June 14, 2008, he challenged Filipino IBF mini flyweight champion Florante Condes and defeated him by a 12 round split decision in La Paz, Baja California Sur, La Paz, Mexico. He defended his IBF title four times. Garcia lost the IBF mini flyweight title against South African Nkosinathi Joyi on 26 March 2010 by a unanimous decision. After losing his IBF title, Garcia went on to win the WBO interim mini flyweight title on October 30, 2010 by a split decision against Luis de la Rosa. Moisés Fuentes Rubio (20 September 1985 – 24 November 2022) was a Mexican professional boxer who held the WBO minimumweight title from 2011 to 2013 and the WBO interim junior flyweight title from 2013 to 2014. Professional career On 6 February 2010, Fuentés won a ten-round unanimous decision over Mexican Eduardo González to capture the interim WBC Youth minimumweight title in Guadalajara, Jalisco. WBO minimumweight champion On 27 August 2011, Fuentés won a twelve-round split decision over Raúl García to capture the WBO minimumweight title. Morelia
Morelia (; from 1545 to 1828 known as Valladolid) is a city and municipal seat of the municipality of Morelia in the north-central part of the state of Michoacán in central Mexico. Light flyweight, also known as junior flyweight or super strawweight, is a weight class in boxing. Professional boxing The weight limit at light flyweight in professional boxing is 108 pounds (49 kilograms). When New York legalized boxing in 1920, the law stipulated a "junior flyweight" class, with a weight limit of 99 pounds. When the National Boxing Association was formed in 1921, it also recognized this weight class. However, on January 19, 1922, the NBA decided to withdraw recognition of the junior flyweight division.
