Raúl Duany Bueno (born 4 January 1975) is a Cuban decathlete The decathlon is a combined event in athletics consisting of ten track and field events. The word "decathlon" was formed, in analogy to the word "pentathlon", from Greek δέκα (''déka'', meaning "ten") and ἄθλος (''áthlos'', or ἄθ ..., who holds the current Cuban record. After retiring he joined the coaching staff of the Cuban national athletics team. Currently, Raúl Duany Bueno is a gym teacher at the school "Cumbres International School San Javier"(CISSJ) in Zapopan, Jalisco, México. Track and field is a sport that includes Competition#Sports, athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills.
