It serves to connect outer and inner City of Lampang. Originally, it was a wooden bridge that the ruler of Nakhon Lampang, Chao Noranan Chaichaowalit (เจ้านรนันทไชยชวลิต) together with Lampang people had built to commemorate King Chulalongkorn (Rama V)’s Anniversary of his 25th year Accession to the throne in 1894. The name ''"Ratsadaphisek"'' refers to 25th Anniversary Celebration or Silver Jubilee. However, there is another name that is commonly called "White Bridge" according to its characteristics. Thailand officially adopted a neutral position during World War II until the five hour-long Japanese invasion of Thailand on 8 December 1941, which led to an armistice and military alliance treaty between Thailand and the Japanese Empire in mid-December 1941. Ratchadaphisek Road ( th, ถนนรัชดาภิเษก, ) is a major road in Bangkok, Thailand. Conceived in 1971 and opened in 1976, it connects earlier portions including Asok Montri, Wong Sawang and Charan Sanitwong Roads to form the city's inner ring road system. Chulalongkorn ( th, จุฬาลงกรณ์, 20 September 1853 – 23 October 1910) was the fifth monarch of Siam under the House of Chakri, titled Rama V. He was known to the Siamese of his time as ''Phra Phuttha Chao Luang'' (พระพุทธเจ้าหลวง, the Royal Buddha). Northern Thailand
Northern Thailand, or more specifically Lanna, is geographically characterised by several mountain ranges, which continue from the Shan Hills in bordering Myanmar to Laos, and the river valleys which cut through them. Though like most of Thailand, it has a tropical savanna climate, its relatively high elevation and latitude contribute to more pronounced seasonal temperature variation, with cooler winters than the other regions.
