Radovan Radović
Radovan "Bata" Radović ( sr-cyr, Рaдовaн Рaдовић; 19 January 1936 – 25 August 2022) was a Serbian basketball player and coach. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Playing career Radović played for two Belgrade teams the BSK and the Partizan in Yugoslav First League. He started his basketball career playing with the youth teams of the BSK. In 1954, he was promoted to first team. Few years later he moved to Partizan where he has played for Partizan from 1957 to 1968, missed only 1964 season due to the compulsory military service. In 1963, he recorded a career-high 48 points in a game. Kučevo ( sr-cyr, Кучево, ; ro, Cuciovă) is a town and municipality located in the Braničevo District of the eastern Serbia. Basketball At The 1960 Summer Olympics
Basketball at the 1960 Summer Olympics was the fifth appearance of the sport of basketball as an official Olympic medal event. 16 nations were admitted into the Olympic tournament, with many others being eliminated in a pre-Olympic tournament held earlier in the year from 13 to 20 August 1960 at the Land Rover Arena at Bologna. 64 games of basketball were played in the Olympic tournament that was held at the Palazzetto dello Sport and PalaLottomatica, both in Rome. The 16 teams were split up into four groups for the preliminary round. Each team played every other team in its group once. The top two teams in each group advanced to the semifinals in two pools of four, while the lower two teams were sent to a consolation semifinal for 9th through 16th place. Ljubodrag Simonović
Ljubodrag "Duci" Simonović ( sr-Cyrl, Љубодраг Дуци Симоновић, ); born 1 January 1949) is a Serbian philosopher, author and retired basketball player. He played with Red Star Belgrade, with which he won two National Championships, three National Cups and one FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup. From 1976 to 1978, he played for 1. FC 01 Bamberg in the top-tier level German Basketball Bundesliga. Simonović played for the senior Yugoslav national basketball team that won the gold medal at the 1970 FIBA World Championship. He was also a three time FIBA European Selection. Kraljevo ( sr-cyr, Краљево, ) is a city and the administrative center of the Raška District in central Serbia.
