RBD Discography
This page includes the discography of Mexican pop group RBD. RBD released six studio albums and twenty one official singles. The group's debut album, ''Rebelde'', was released in 2004. Only 25,000 copies were initially distributed throughout Mexico, but the album's high demand caused an immediate increase. ''Rebelde'' obtained a Diamond certification in Mexico for the sales of half a million copies. Later, the album was certified Diamond + Gold in Mexico due to its high and continued sales. The first single released from the album was the title-track "Rebelde". The album's second single, "Solo Quédate en Silencio", reached a peak of #2 on the US ''Billboard'' Latin Pop Songs chart. In July 2005, the group released their first live album, titled ''Tour Generación RBD En Vivo'', and in September of the same year their second studio album, ''Nuestro Amor''. RBD is a Mexican Latin pop group that gained popularity from Televisa's telenovela ''Rebelde''. The group achieved international success from 2004 until their separation in 2009 and sold over 15 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time. The group was composed of Anahí, Alfonso Herrera, Dulce María, Christopher von Uckermann, Maite Perroni and Christian Chávez. In November 2004, the group released their debut studio album, ''Rebelde'', to great success. In September 2005, the group released their second album, ''Nuestro Amor'', receiving their first Latin Grammy Award nomination at the 2006 ceremony. Top Latin Albums is a record chart published by ''Billboard'' magazine and is labeled as the most important music chart for Spanish language, full-length albums in the American music market. Like all ''Billboard'' album charts, the chart is based on sales. Nielsen SoundScan compiles the sales data from merchants representing more than 90 percent of the U.S. music retail market. The sample includes sales at music stores, the music departments of electronics and department stores, direct-to-consumer transactions, and Internet sales of physical albums or digital downloads. A limited array of verifiable sales from concert venues is also tabulated. To rank on this chart, an album must have 51% or more of its content recorded in Spanish. A soundtrack album is any album that incorporates music directly recorded from the soundtrack of a particular feature film or television show. The first such album to be commercially released was Walt Disney's ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'', the soundtrack to the film of the same name, in 1938. Live In Rio (RBD Video)
''Live In Rio'' is the third live material by Mexican pop group RBD. The video was recorded on October 8, 2006, before an audience of 100,000 people at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on the group's Tour Brasil 2006. RBD made history in this concert by becoming the first Spanish language act to sell out the Maracanã, overshadowing in the process the turnouts for acts such as Luis Miguel or Guns N' Roses with 50.000. This particular concert also saw the first performance of "Ser O Parecer", RBD's lead single off of their then-upcoming third studio album, ''Celestial''. Diane Warren
Diane Eve Warren (born September 7, 1956) is an American songwriter. She has received several awards including a Grammy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, three ''Billboard'' Music Awards and an Honorary Academy Award. Warren's career was jump-started in 1985 with " Rhythm of the Night" by DeBarge.
