The R519 is a Regional Route in South Africa. Route Its western terminus is Mookgophong (Naboomspruit), where it takes origin from the R101. It heads south-east crossing the N1, until it meets the northern end of the R516. Thereafter it continues east to Roedtan where it crosses the N11 at a staggered junction. It then takes on a north-easterly direction, crossing the R518 near Zebediela. Mookgophong, also known as Naboomspruit, is a town in the Limpopo province of South Africa. The town is located approximately 42 km north-east of Modimolle and 51 km south-west of Mokopane. History It was founded on the farm Vischgat in 1907 and administered by a health committee from 1919. The R101 is a Regional Route in South Africa that is the designation for some of the old sections of roads that were previously the N1, prior to upgrading. It only has 2 sections, from Bellville to Worcester and from Johannesburg to Polokwane. Western Cape The R101 starts in Bellville at the R102 running to the east parallel to the newer N1 freeway and is named 'Old Paarl Road'. It then goes through Brackenfell before entering Kraaifontein as 'Voortrekker Road'. At the intersection with Maroela Road in Kraaifontein East it is renamed 'Old Paarl Road' before entering the Cape Winelands. In the Cape Winelands it goes through Klapmuts and then enters Paarl. South of Paarl, the R101 is joined by the R45 to be co-signed for 6 kilometres northwards, crossing the N1 freeway, before separating from the R45 and turning right in Paarl Central Business District (CBD). The N1 is a national route in South Africa that runs from Cape Town through Bloemfontein, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Polokwane to Beit Bridge on the border with Zimbabwe. It forms the first section of the famed Cape to Cairo Road. Prior to 1970, the N1 designation was applied to the route from Beit Bridge to Colesberg and then along the current N9 to George. Roedtan is a small town in the Limpopo province, South Africa, set in the midst of the Springbok Flats. Roedtan has a rail road station from Polokwane. The N11 is a national route in South Africa which runs from the Botswana border at Groblersbrug, through Mokopane, Middelburg, Ermelo and Newcastle to end at the N3 just after Ladysmith. Route Limpopo The N11 begins at the Groblersbrug Border with Botswana (Grobler's Bridge in English) on the Limpopo River. On the Botswana side of the Limpopo River, the border is known as Martin's Drift. It begins by running south-east through Limpopo province for 190 kilometres to Mokopane. Just before entering Mokopane, the N11 is joined by the R518 and they form one road into Mokopane Central. At the junction with the R101 Road (Thabo Mbeki Drive), the N11 and the R518 join the R101 southwards. The R518 is a Regional Route in South Africa that connects Lephalale with Zebediela via Mokopane. Route Its western terminus is an intersection with the R510 at Lephalale (Ellisras). It goes east for 69 kilometres to meet the southern terminus of the R561 at the village of Marken and turn southwards. The R518 continues south, then south-east, for 103 kilometres to meet the N11 National Route and enter the town of Mokopane. The R518 and the N11 become one road south-east into the city centre. In the city centre of Mokopane, the R518 and the N11 meet the R101 and all 3 routes are co-signed on the road southwards (Thabo Mbeki Drive). Zebediela is a group of villages in Capricorn District Municipality of Limpopo Province, South Africa. It is situated south-east of Polokwane next to Lebowakgomo.
