Quiz is a British clothing business founded in 1993 in Scotland. In 2017, it had more than 275 shops in the United Kingdom and more than fifty shops in other parts of Europe and Asia. Tarak Ramzan
Mohammad Tarak Ramzan (born January 1953) is a British businessman, and the founder and CEO of the Quiz womenswear retail chain. Ramzan was born in the Southside area of Glasgow, Scotland. In 1947, his father arrived in Scotland from Pakistan, and started a business making duffle coats, kilts, and tartan pinafores, before returning to Pakistan, with his son taking over a staff of 30 at the age of 18. As of early 2017, Quiz had more than 300 stores and outlets worldwide, and employed 1500 people. Peter Alan Cowgill (born 18 March 1953) is a British businessman who was the executive chairman of JD Sports until 25 May 2022. Biography He was educated at De La Salle Grammar School, Manchester and graduated from the University of Hull with a bachelor's degree. In 2019, when JD Sports posted record results, Cowgill said this was partly due to staying “in tune with the millennials and Generation Z”.
