Qin Guangrong
Qin Guangrong (; born 25 December 1950) is a former Chinese politician. He previous served as deputy chair of the committee on internal legal affairs of the National People's Congress, from 2014 to 2018, the Communist Party Secretary of Yunnan province, the province's top political office, from 2011 to October 2014. Prior to that he was the Governor of Yunnan. Qin is related to that of his son Qin Ling, former chairman of Huarong Investment Stock Corp. His son Qin Ling was under investigation as part of the corruption scandal at the Huarong Asset Management Co. Ltd., one of China's four state-run bad-asset disposal companies. He is the first leader of provincial level to spontaneously hand himself in to the anti-corruption agency of China. Early life and education Qin was born in Yongzhou, Hunan on December 25, 1950. Li Xi (born 1962)
Li Xi (; born December 1962) is a former Chinese politician from Yunnan province; he served as the executive vice mayor of Kunming and a member of the provincial capital's Provincial party standing committee. Early life Li was born and raised in Kunming, capital of Yunnan. Career He entered the workforce in July 1981 and joined the Chinese Communist Party in October 1984. During his early years, he served in several posts in Guandu District, including director of government office, deputy party chief and magistrate of Guanshang Town. Shen Peiping
Shen Peiping (; born February 1962) is a former Chinese politician from Yunnan province. Between 2013 and 2014 Shen served as the Vice Governor of Yunnan province. He also once served as the Mayor and then Party Secretary of Pu'er. He was investigated in March 2014 by the Communist Party's internal disciplinary organ. Career Shen was born in Shidian County, Yunnan in February 1962. Shen entered Baoshan University in September 1979, majoring in Chinese language, where he graduated in August 1981. Wu Po-hsiung (; born 19 June 1939) is a Taiwanese politician who is a former chairman of the Kuomintang (KMT). He has been the Interior Minister (1984-1988), Mayor of Taipei (1988–1990), Secretary-General to the President (1991–1996), and Chairman of the KMT (2007-2009). Kuomintang
The Kuomintang (KMT), also referred to as the Guomindang (GMD), the Nationalist Party of China (NPC) or the Chinese Nationalist Party (CNP), is a major political party in the Republic of China, initially on the Chinese mainland and in Taiwan after 1949.
