Qian Ping
Qian Ping (; born 1964) is a former world level badminton player from China. Career Qian was among the youngest of an impressive cadre of Chinese players who largely dominated women's international badminton after China joined the International Badminton Federation (now Badminton World Federation) in 1981. She was a member of China's world champion Uber Cup (women's international) teams of 1984 and 1986. Qian won singles at the Denmark (1982 autumn), and German (1985, 1987) Opens, and was a runner-up in several other top tier tournaments on the world circuit, including the All-England Championships in both 1986 and 1987. Olympic Gymnastics Arena
The Olympic Gymnastics Arena (), also known as the KSPO Dome since 2018, is an indoor arena located within the Olympic Park in Seoul, South Korea. It has a capacity of 15,000 and can be extended upto 20,000. It was constructed between 31 August 1984 and 30 April 1986, to host the gymnastics competitions at the 1988 Summer Olympics. The roof was designed by David H. Geiger. It is a self-supporting cable dome – the first of its kind ever built – with a four-layer fabric cladding. Li Lingwei (, born January 4, 1964) is a Chinese badminton player of the 1980s. She was elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee in 2012, and in December 2016, she was elected Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee. Li is heavily involved in improving women’s participation and fair representation in sport. Early years Born in Lishui, Zhejiang, China, on January 4, 1964, Li Lingwei weighed only at birth. Worried about Li’s health, her mother encouraged her to participate in non-contact sports such as badminton but Li indiscriminately loved sports. Kirsten Larsen (born 14 March 1962) is a retired female badminton player from Denmark. Career Larsen won the All England final in 1987 in singles. She also won three bronze medals at the Badminton World Cup in 1980, 1985 and 1986 and a gold medal in 1988 European championships. She was also Danish champion in singles from 1981 to 1983 and again from 1986 to 1988, and she was called Lene Køppen's successor.
