Pudu, Kuala Lumpur
Pudu (Chinese: 富都, alt. 半山芭) is a ward of Kuala Lumpur located along the Pudu Road ( ms, Jalan Pudu). It houses Pudu Sentral (Kuala Lumpur's oldest bus station) and formerly Pudu Prison. Pudu Market ( ms, Pasar Besar Pudu) is one of the largest wet markets in Kuala Lumpur. Adjacent to it is Jalan Pasar (Pasar Road) where there are shops selling electronics components and devices. During colonial rule, Pudu was known as ''Pudoh''. Pudu is sandwiched between Bukit Bintang, Maluri and Cheras. The Bukit Bintang City Centre development is located at the border of Pudu and Bukit Bintang right beside of the Hang Tuah LRT and monorail station. The Ampang Line and Sri Petaling Line Pudu LRT station's sign was used in the movie '' Entrapment'', although it was the Bukit Jalil LRT station that was used as the filming location. Bukit Jalil LRT station is an LRT station in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is operated under the Sri Petaling Line ''(formerly known as STAR LRT)''. Pudu LRT Station
Pudu LRT station is an elevated rapid transit station situated in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The station serves a single line that is shared by both the Ampang Line and Sri Petaling Line. The station was opened on 16 December 1996, as part of the first phase of the STAR LRT system's opening, alongside 13 adjoining stations along the Sultan Ismail- Ampang route. The LRT Ampang Line and the LRT Sri Petaling Line are medium-capacity rail system, medium-capacity light rapid transit (LRT) lines in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. The combined network comprises 45.1 kilometres of tracks (28.0 miles) with 36 stations and was the first railway in Malaysia to use Standard-gauge railway, standard-gauge track and semi-automated trains. Bukit Bintang City Centre
Bukit Bintang City Centre, also known as BBCC for short, is a mixed-use development on the former site of Pudu Prison in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The development is located at the south western end of Bukit Bintang, bordering Pudu along Jalan Hang Tuah and Jalan Pudu. BBCC is a joint development between Eco World Development Group, the Urban Development Authority (UDA) and the Employees Provident Fund Board (EPF). Maluri is a suburb in the constituency of Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, situated near the border of the constituency of Titiwangsa. It is located along Cheras Road and can be accessed through Maluri station served by the LRT Ampang Line and the MRT Kajang Line.
