Pete Woods
Peter Woods is an American comic book artist, known for his work on titles such as '' Backlash'', ''Deadpool'', ''Robin'', ''Catwoman'', ''Amazons Attack'', and ''Action Comics''. Career Woods worked as an intern for Wildstorm comics in April 1996 working under artist Jim Lee. Here he got his first major comics work filling in on ''Stormwatch'' and '' Wetworks'' in 1996, before getting a short run on '' Backlash'' in 1997. He moved over to Marvel Comics to draw a few issues of ''Excalibur'' before starting a critically acclaimed run on ''Deadpool'' with Joe Kelly. He was then picked up by DC Comics for a four-year stint on ''Robin'', from 2000–2004, followed by an exclusive contract in 2001 and further work in DC titles. ''Action Comics'' is an American comic book/ magazine series that introduced Superman, one of the first major superhero characters. The publisher was originally known as National Allied Publications, and later as National Comics Publications and as National Periodical Publications, before taking on its current name of DC Comics. Excalibur (comics)
Excalibur is a fictional superhero group appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are depicted as an offshoot of the X-Men, usually based in the United Kingdom. Conceived by writer Chris Claremont and artist/co-writer Alan Davis, they first appeared in ''Excalibur Special Edition'' #1 (1987), also known as ''Excalibur: The Sword is Drawn''. Stories involving this team have featured elements of both the X-Men and Captain Britain franchises, frequently involving cross-dimensional travel. Paul Douglas Cornell (born 18 July 1967) is a British writer best known for his work in television drama as well as ''Doctor Who'' fiction, and as the creator of one of the Doctor's spin-off companions, Bernice Summerfield. "New Krypton" is a 2008–09 comic book story arc featuring character Superman, published by American company DC Comics; it was written by Geoff Johns, James Robinson and Sterling Gates, with art by Gary Frank, Alex Ross, Renato Guedes, Jamal Igle and Pete Woods. Galerie Lambiek is a Dutch comic book store and art gallery in Amsterdam, founded on November 8, 1968 by Kees Kousemaker (, – Bussum, ), though since 2007, his son Boris Kousemaker is the current owner. From 1968 to 2015, it was located in the Kerkstraat, but in November 2015, the store moved to the Koningsstraat 27. Helioscope is a comics and illustration studio based in Portland, Oregon. Members of the studio work both individually and as collaborators on a number of high-profile mainstream and independent comic books. Paul Guinan is an American writer and comic book artist. Some of his most famous works are the Boilerplate robot or DC's Chronos. He is a founding member of Helioscope studio. Paul Guinan is part of the husband-and-wife team with Anina Bennett who have been collaborating in print since 1989. He is currently working on the historical graphic novel ''Aztec Empire''.
