Per Skift
Per Skift (born ''Per Anker Christensen'', May 10, 1920 – January 10, 1994) was a Norwegian actor. Skift made his stage debut in 1944 at Chat Noir in Oslo. He was then engaged with the Oslo New Theater, Trøndelag Theater, and Rogaland Theater until he started performing for the National Traveling Theater in 1972. Skift is best known his performances in operettas and musicals such as ''Die Fledermaus'', '' Annie Get Your Gun'', and ''Carmen''. Alongside his stage career, Skift also appeared in eight films between 1946 and 1964. He made his film debut in Toralf Sandø's ''Englandsfarere''. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of in 2019, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. During the Viking Age the area was part of Viken. Oslo was founded as a city at the end of the Viking Age in 1040 under the name Ánslo, and established as a ''kaupstad'' or trading place in 1048 by Harald Hardrada. ''Suicide Mission'' is a 1954 British-Norwegian war film directed by Michael Forlong. It was also known as ''Shetlandsgjengen''. The film was based on historian David Howarth's 1951 book ''The Shetland Bus''. Plot The true story of the Shetland bus, the clandestine traffic across the North Sea from German-occupied Norway to Shetland during the Second World War. A small group of Norwegian sailors loosely connected to the British Royal Navy take refugees from Norway to Shetland in small fishing boats, equipped only with small arms to protect themselves from German aircraft and patrol boats. ''Vi vil skilles'' (We Want a Divorce) is a Norway, Norwegian comedy film from 1952 directed by Nils R. Müller. This was one of several "marriage comedies" in the 1950s and was a kind of sequel to ''Vi gifter oss'' (We're Getting Married), also directed by Müller. They buy a house together, but the house is much more expensive than they can really afford. When Bitten's mother encourages Ola to buy more expensive furniture for their house, things get even worse, and the financial responsibility weighs on Ola. At the same time, Bitten neglects the housework, and her romantic ideas about marriage soon begin to crack.
