Peter Van Heeren
''Peter van Heeren'' is a Norwegian crime film from 1957. It is based on Alf Bonnevie Bryn's debut crime novel, ''Peter van Heeren tar skeen i den anden haand'' (Peter van Heeren Holds His Spoon in His Other Hand). The novel was adapted for film by Sigval Maartmann-Moe, who also directed the film. Plot The film is about the rich, eccentric, and amiable idler Peter van Heeren (played by Per Skift) and his many companies. He is persuaded to help his friend, Mrs. Kathie Winter ( Liv Wilse), who is exposed to a certain appellate court attorney Halmer, who tries to win her favor though blackmail and other unorthodox methods. Peter van Heeren receives help from his inimitable butler Jeremias (Ernst Diesen). Sigval Maartmann-Moe
Sigval Maartmann-Moe (May 23, 1921 – June 7, 2010) was a Norwegian film director and screenwriter. Maartmann-Moe made his debut as a film director in 1951 with '' Dei svarte hestane'', which he directed together with Hans Jacob Nilsen. This debut was followed by the documentary film '' Fakkelen til Oslo'' (1952), '' Savnet siden mandag'' (1955), ''Peter van Heeren'' (1957), ''I slik en natt'' (1958), and '' Vår egen tid'' (1959). Maartmann-Moe also wrote the screenplays for the last three. Berit Kullander (born March 23, 1938) is a Norwegians, Norwegian actress, dancer, and singer. Kullander performed in the Norwegian Opera Company's productions of the ballets ''Swan Lake'' and ''La Sylphide''. After that she danced at Chat Noir from 1954 to 1965. Per Theodor Haugen (8 October 1932 – 14 October 2018) was a Norwegian actor. Haugen was theater manager at Oslo Nye Teater from 1985 to 1988. Haugen was born at Kongsberg. He was the son of Trygve Haugen (1897–1943) and his wife Hjørdis Wissestad (1904–60). At age 16 he became a student at Rogaland Theater in Stavanger. He is best known for his role as the housemaster Haukås in the Stompa films and as the voice of Bodø in the radio plays about Stompa & Co.
