Pat Kelly (politician)
Pat Kelly (born 1971) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to represent the riding of Calgary Rocky Ridge in the House of Commons in the 2015 federal election defeating well known broadcast journalist Nirmala Naidoo. A native Calgarian and graduate of Bowness High School and the University of Calgary, Kelly worked as a mortgage broker until his election in 2015. Calgary Rocky Ridge is a federal electoral district in Alberta, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 2015. Calgary Rocky Ridge was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order. The 2015 Canadian federal election held on October 19, 2015, saw the Liberal Party, led by Justin Trudeau, win 184 seats, allowing it to form a majority government with Trudeau becoming the next prime minister.
