Panacea Records is an independent American record label founded by Bill Ray and Paul Trust in 1993. The label has a primary focus on rock music but has branched out into electronic and country music as well. Panacea Records has released music by artists including Morgan Wallen, Atom Smash, Endo, and Sunday Driver. History Panacea Records was founded in 1993 by Bill Ray and Paul Trust. Operating primarily out of South Florida, Panacea Records has signed numerous local bands such as Al's Not Well, Endo, and Sunday Driver to record contracts. The band Atom Smash was formed by Sergio Sanchez with the assistance of Panacea Records in 2007. Atom Smash was able to record and release both the ''Sacrifice'' and ''Kill Me'' EPs under Panacea Records before they eventually signed with Jive Records. Paul Trust is an American songwriter and record producer, who has worked with recording artists such as MNQN, Starset, Morgan Wallen, Say Anything (band), Say Anything, Diecast (band), Diecast, endo (band), Endo, List of Epic Records artists, Jesse Strange, Atom Smash, Downplay and The Cleopatra Complex. His work has appeared in major movie soundtracks including ''Dracula 2000 (soundtrack), Dracula 2000'', ''Alone in the Dark (2005 film), Alone in the Dark'', and ''The Cave (2005 film), The Cave''. He is also known for writing and producing a large body of music for network sports. Endo (band)
Endo was a four-piece nu metal group from Miami, Florida. The band formed in 1995, released two major record label albums in 2001 and 2003, and worked on songs for a third before disbanding in 2007. In 2012, the band got back together with Gil, Eli and Joel, with their new bass player, Derek Gormley. Recording on their new album began early in 2013 with B-Team Records in Miami, FL. The album was released in July 2013. History The band was formed in 1995 by Gil Bitton and bassist Zelick. In 1996 drummer Joel Suarez joined the group, followed by Eli Parker. New York-based company, "Concrete Management" ( Pantera, Ministry, Anthrax), signed the band in the late 1990s, where they opened for such bands as the Foo Fighters, Static-X, and Megadeth. The Voice (franchise)
''The Voice'' is an international reality television singing competition franchise. It is based on the reality singing competition ''The Voice of Holland'', which was originally created by Dutch producer John de Mol and Dutch singer Roel van Velzen. It has become a rival to the '' Idols'' franchise, '' The Four'', '' Rising Star'' and ''The X Factor''. Up until 2020, the franchise was owned by Talpa Network. The current owner is ITV Studios. Originated in the Netherlands, many other countries adapted the format and began airing their own versions starting in 2010. Jive Records was an American independent record label founded by Clive Calder in 1981 as a subsidiary to the Zomba Group. In the US, the label had offices in New York City and Chicago. Jive was best known for its successes with hip hop, R&B, and dance acts in the 1980s and 1990s, along with teen pop and boy bands during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Jive was acquired by Bertelsmann Music Group in 2002. In 2008, BMG itself was bought out by Sony Music Entertainment. Atom Smash is a Miami, Florida-based hard rock band consisting of Serg Gabriel Sanchez (vocals), Mark "Taco" Annino (drums), Luke "Cowboy" Rice (guitar, vocals) and "Crazy" Dave Carrey (bass) Formerly signed to Jive Records. History The group formed in 2006 by Serg Gabriel Sanchez and Producer Paul Trust. Paul Trust introduced Serg to Dr. Bill Ray owner of Panacea Records. Dr. Bill began to help develop the group. Guitarist Alex Zilinski of Austria Europe joined the band later that year. Bassist Arnold Nese jumped on board in 2007.
