Paul Trust is an American songwriter and record producer, who has worked with recording artists such as MNQN, Starset, Morgan Wallen, Say Anything (band), Say Anything, Diecast (band), Diecast, endo (band), Endo, List of Epic Records artists, Jesse Strange, Atom Smash, Downplay and The Cleopatra Complex. Starset is an American rock band from Columbus, Ohio, formed by Dustin Bates in 2013. They released their debut album, '' Transmissions'', in 2014 and their second album, '' Vessels'', on January 20, 2017. The band has found success in expanding the ideas of their concept albums through social media and YouTube, with the band generating over $230,000 in revenue from views from the latter as of November 2016. Howard Benson is an American music producer and multi-instrumentalist. He was nominated for the Producer of the Year Grammy Award in 2007 and 2008. Early life and education Benson was born and raised in a middle-class family in greater Philadelphia, the son of Estelle and Robert Benson. He is of Jewish descent. He began playing keyboards in rock bands at the age of 13. He attended college at Drexel University and studied engineering. James William Durbin (born January 6, 1989) is an American singer and guitarist from Santa Cruz, California, who finished in fourth place on the tenth season of ''American Idol in 2011.'' Durbin was the lead singer for heavy metal band Quiet Riot from 2017 to 2019. Early life Durbin was born in 1989 to Judy Settle-Durbin, a dentist's daughter, and Willy Durbin, a bass player, who died of a heroin overdose when James was nine. The Cleopatra Complex is an American rock band from Miami, Florida, United States. The band was formed in 2012 by Gea Gamboa and Paul Trust shortly after a project they were previously working on named All The Pretty Cars dissolved. Gamboa and Trust have worked together since 2003, when at 15 she started her first band, Faces of March, for which Gamboa was the lead singer/writer and Trust was the producer/writer. Trust has also produced or written for such artists as Atom Smash, Say Anything, Diecast, Endo and James Durbin. Downplay is an American alternative metal band formed in Athens, Ohio, in 2003, and is now based in Columbus, Ohio. The group consists of vocalist Dustin Bates, bassist Ron DeChant, and drummer Brian Patrick. The band has released five full studio albums and three EPs to date and have recorded with producer Dave Fortman.
