Pailou, Haicheng City
Pailou () is a small mining town about 20 kilometers southeast of Haicheng, Liaoning in Northeast China. A large magnesium mine ( Xiafangshen mine) is located just south of town. Agricultural activities are present. This town consists of a main boulevard that extends from west to east. It has an area of and a population of 39,900. Liaoning
Liaoning () is a coastal province in Northeast China that is the smallest, southernmost, and most populous province in the region. With its capital at Shenyang, it is located on the northern shore of the Yellow Sea, and is the northernmost coastal province of the People's Republic of China. Historically a gateway between China proper and Manchuria, the modern Liaoning province was established in 1907 as Fengtian or Fengtien province and was renamed Liaoning in 1929. It was also known at that time as Mukden Province for the Manchu name of ''Shengjing'', the former name of Shenyang. Anshan () is an inland prefecture-level city in central-southeast Liaoning province, People's Republic of China, about south of the provincial capital Shenyang. As of the 2020 census, it was Liaoning's third most populous city with a population of 3,325,372 people, over an area of about spanning from east to the west. Haicheng, Liaoning
Haicheng () is a county-level city in central Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China, located about southwest of the provincial capital Shenyang. It is under the administration of Anshan City, the seat of which lies to the northeast. Haicheng has an area of and as of the 2020 census, a decreasing population of 1,067,905 inhabitants (1,232,739 in 2020). The infamous warlord General Zhang Zuolin was born in Haicheng. Magnesium
Magnesium is a chemical element with the symbol Mg and atomic number 12. It is a shiny gray metal having a low density, low melting point and high chemical reactivity.
