Biography He was born in Sarandí, Avellaneda, Buenos Aires Career Pablo Echarri began his career on Argentine television in 1993. He was given his first significant film role in the 1998 thriller, ''The Detour'', and received his first major film award at the Havana Film Festival for Best Actor for his role in ''Only People'', in 1999. Sarandí, Buenos Aires
Sarandí () is a city in the Avellaneda Partido of the urban agglomeration of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located to the south of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The city has an area of and a population of 60,752 inhabitants (INDEC, 2001); the second most populated locality in the ''partido'' after Avellaneda, with 18.5% of the partido's population.
