This is a list of flag bearers who have represented India at the Olympics. Flag bearers carry the national flag of their country at the opening ceremony of the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. Men and women from across the country and from a variety of sports have been chosen to bear the flag at the opening ceremonies. S. Lal Shah Bokhari (July 22, 1909 – July 22, 1962) was a British Indian field hockey player who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics. In 1932 he was the captain of the India_men's national field hockey team, which won the gold medal at the Los Angeles Olympics. He played two matches as halfback. He was also part of the Indian field hockey team which secured gold at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. He was born in Mianwali.
