Purbanchal University School of Engineering () is the only constituent engineering college of Purbanchal University. Located in Biratnagar, the capital of Koshi Province it established in 1999 AD with aim to provide engineering skills and knowledge related to the sector. PUSOE provides bachelor and masters level course in various streams of engineering. Selection criteria The following remains the criteria for admission to Bachelor level course and masters level courses: * Applicants should have passed +2 or ISc or Diploma in Surveying or any other engineering field for joining bachelor level cousres. * For masters level course, the applicant should have passed Bachelor in Engineering of the respective subject. * Applicants should have passed entrance exam taken by University. Koshi Province
was an ancient province or region of Japan in what is now the Hokuriku region. The region as a whole was sometimes referred to as . Koshi appears as one of the original provinces in the '' Nihon Shoki''. In 598 AD, the residents of Koshi presented a white deer to Empress Suiko as tribute. At the end of the 7th century, Koshi was divided into three separate provinces: Echizen, Etchū, and Echigo (as noted in the Taihō Code). Pulchowk Campus ( Nepali: पुल्चोक क्याम्पस), commonly known as Pulchowk Engineering Campus (), is one of the five constituent campuses of the Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering in Nepal, and is one of the best engineering colleges in Asia. Thapathali Campus ( ne, थापाथली क्याम्पस) also known as Thapathali Engineering Campus is the first and one of the five constituent engineering campuses under Institute of Engineering (IOE), of Tribhuvan University (TU). Located at the center of Kathmandu city, the campus was established in 2023 B.S. to develop middle level manpower in the field in different fields engineering which upgraded its programs to bachelor and master level along the course of time. Being roughly about 1.25 km from the central campus Pulchowk Campus, it remains the second most demanded engineering campus in Nepal after Pulchowk Campus.
