Provincial Assembly (Nepal)
The Provincial Assembly ( ne, प्रदेश सभा; ''Pradesh Sabha'') is the unicameral legislative assembly for a federal province of Nepal. According to Article 176 of the Constitution of Nepal 2015, following the dissolution of the provincial assembly all the members forming the Provincial Assembly are elected. The term for the Provincial Assembly is five years, except when dissolved earlier. Candidates for each constituency are chosen by the political parties or stand as independents. Each constituency elects one member under the first past the post system of election. Since Nepal uses a parallel voting system, voters cast another ballot to elect members through the party-list proportional representation. The current constitution specifies that sixty percent of the members should be elected from the first past the post system and forty percent through the party-list proportional representation system. CPN (Unified Socialist)
The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) (), abbreviated as CPN (Unified Socialist) is a political party in Nepal. Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is the chairman of the party and former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal serves as the senior leader. As of August 2021, the party had voted in favour of Nepali Congress led Deuba government and is an important ally in the governing coalition. The Provincial Assembly of Lumbini Province also known as the Lumbini Pradesh Sabha, (Nepali: लुम्बिनी प्रदेश सभा) is a unicameral governing and law making body of Lumbini Province, one of the 7 provinces in Nepal, and is situated at Dang, the interim province capital of Lumbini Province, with 60 Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPA). 2nd Gandaki Provincial Assembly
The second Gandaki Provincial Assembly was elected by the 2022 Nepalese provincial elections, 2022 provincial elections on 20 November 2022. 60 members were elected to the assembly, 36 of whom were elected through Direct election, direct elections and 24 of whom were elected through the party list proportional representation system. The Nepali Congress ( ne, नेपाली कांग्रेस ; abbr. NC) is the largest social democratic political party in Nepal. As per the results of recent local election, ''Nepali Congress'' stands as the single largest party of Nepal at all levels of government. It is the current ruling party of Nepal since July 2021. Pokhara ( ne, पोखरा, ) is a metropolis, metropolitan city in Nepal, which serves as the capital of Gandaki Province. Hetauda
Hetauda ( ne, हेटौडा, ) is a sub-metropolitan city in the Makwanpur District of Bagmati Province in central Nepal. It is the administrative headquarters of the Makwanpur District and the capital of Bagmati Province as declared by majority (105 out of 110) Provincial Assembly Members on 12 January 2020. It is one of the largest cities of Nepal. At the time of the 2015 Nepal census, it had a population of 153,875 people. The city had a population of 195,951 in 2021. The People's Socialist Party, Nepal ( abbr. PSP-N; ne, जनता समाजवादी पार्टी, नेपाल), also known as Janata Samajbadi Party is the sixth-largest political party in Nepal.
