Provincetown Schools
Provincetown Public Schools, also known as Provincetown School District, or Provincetown IB Schools, is the school district of Provincetown, Massachusetts, serving grades Kindergarten through 8. The district previously covered all grades, including Provincetown High School (7-12). The school's athletic nickname was the Fishermen and the school colors were black and orange. That facility became an International Baccalaureate Public Middle school on June 7, 2013, following the graduation ceremony of the final senior high school class of the old Provincetown High School. The high school building is now used for grades 1-8. PYP1 through MYP3 students. Younger students, 6 weeks through Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten are around the corner in the Veterans Memorial Elementary School and the Early Learning Center. Nauset Regional High School
Nauset Regional High School is an NEASC accredited high school located in Eastham, Massachusetts, United States and a part of Nauset Public Schools. Nauset is inside the Cape Cod National Seashore, making it the only high school on the East Coast located within a National Park. The open campus is situated about a half-mile from Nauset Light. Nauset's colors are Black and Gold and the school's mascot is the Warrior. Nauset Public Schools
Nauset Public Schools, or the Nauset Regional School District, is a school district headquartered in Orleans, Massachusetts. In addition to Orleans its attendance area includes Brewster, Eastham, and Wellfleet. It also takes middle and high school students from Truro, and since 2012 high school students from Provincetown. The Provincetown Schools district in 2010 agreed to close Provincetown High School and send its high school students to Nauset. In 1993 the school district had 3,207 students. Expensive housing and a decline in births resulted in enrollment declines, with enrollment at 2,361 in 2020. In 2020 all of its schools except for Eastham Elementary lost students. Sturgis Charter Public School
The Sturgis Charter Public School is a dual-campus charter school located in the village of Hyannis, Massachusetts (Town of Barnstable, MA), United States. The school received its charter in February 1998 and opened in September for the 1998–1999 academic year with 162 freshman, 15 faculty and staff, a newly renovated facility, and a $1.2 million budget. The school philosophy is International Baccalaureate for all students. For its first six years, the school was known as Sturgis Charter School. In 2004, the Sturgis board changed the school's name to "Sturgis Charter Public School," in keeping with a public relations initiative of the Massachusetts Charter School Association. Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, also known as Cape Tech, Cape Cod Tech, Lower Cape Tech, and sometimes abbreviated as CCT, is a public vocational and technical high school located in Harwich, Massachusetts, United States. The Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment system, commonly abbreviated as MCAS , is Massachusetts's statewide standards-based assessment program developed in 1993 in response to the Massachusetts Education Reform Act of the same year.
