Prosenjit Chatterjee is an Indian film actor, producer and television presenter, who works predominantly in Bengali and Hindi language films. He debuted as a child actor in the Hrishikesh Mukherjee-directorial '' Chotto Jigyasa'', for which he has won the Bengal Film Journalists' Association – Most Outstanding Work of the Year Award. After a string of films where he acted as a child actor, he made his debut as a lead actor in ''Duti Pata'', which was a critically and commercially unsuccessful. In 1987, Prosenjit's breakthrough role came opposite Vijeta Pandit in ''Amar Sangi''; a highly successful romantic drama directed by Sujit Guha. He made his debut in Hindi cinema with the David Dhawan-directorial '' Aandhiyan''. Following this, he went on to act in numerous commercial films until 2003, when he acted in '' Chokher Bali''. Prosenjit Chatterjee (born 30 September 1962) is an Indian actor and producer. He is widely regarded as one of the leading actors in modern Bengali cinema. He predominantly works in Cinema of West Bengal, Bengali cinema . He is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Biswajit Chatterjee. He began his acting career as a child actor in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's ''Chotto Jigyasa'', for which he won the Bengal Film Journalists' Association – Most Outstanding Work of the Year Award. ''Autograph'' is a 2010 Indian Bengali drama film by debutant director Srijit Mukherji. The movie is a tribute to Satyajit Ray's 1966 film '' Nayak'' and yesteryear Bengali actor Uttam Kumar, who portrayed the title role in the film. This was the First of the forthcoming Long Collaboration between Srijit Mukherjee & Prosenjit Chatterjee. The movie is being remade in Malayalam. Plot The film starts with a proposal of remaking Satyajit Ray's famous '' Nayak'' by a debutant director and storywriter Shuvobrata (Indraneil Sengupta) to famous Bengali actor Arun Chatterjee (Prosenjit). ''Traffic'' is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language road thriller film directed by Rajesh Pillai. It is a remake of the 2011 Malayalam film of same name. Originally written by brothers Bobby and Sanjay, the film's screenplay has been adapted into Hindi by Suresh Nair, while the dialogues were penned by Piyush Mishra.
