Pridelands
Pridelands are an Australian rock band, from Mount Gambier, Australia. The band's current lineup consists of original members Mason Bunt (scream vocalist), lead guitarist Liam Fowler, and clean vocalist Joshua Cory. Following Cory's transition from bassist duties, the band was joined by Daniel Lohrey and drummer Joe Lipsham. Currently residing in Melbourne, Australia, the band signed with Resist and SharpTone records in 2021. History The band released their debut single "Gaia" in October 2013. The band released their debut EP ''Natives'' in 2015. They released their second EP, ''Any Colour You Desire'' in May 2018. The EP was launched at ''The Workers Club'' in Melbourne. In January 2022, Pridelands released their debut studio album, ''Light Bends''. Resist Records is an independent record label and retail store based in Newtown, New South Wales, Australia. The store was opened by Toe To Toe vocalist, Scotty McFadyen in 1996 before expanding to a record label in 1998. SharpTone Records is an American independent record label started on September 11, 2013. The label was founded by Nuclear Blast CEO Markus Staiger and former vice president of Sumerian Records Shawn Keith. The label's roster includes an amalgamation of metalcore and rock bands: Don Broco, Loathe, Miss May I, We Came as Romans, Of Mice & Men, Holding Absence, Story of the Year, August Burns Red, Polaris, Currents, Crystal Lake, Emmure, and The Gloom In The Corner. Mount Gambier is the second most populated city in South Australia, with an estimated urban population of 33,233 .
