PremiAir Racing
PremiAir Racing is an Australian motor racing team competing in ANDRA Top Fuel and the Supercars Championship. The team is owned by Peter Xiberras, the managing director of PremiAir Hire and himself a Top Fuel drag racing champion. History Top Fuel PremiAir Racing has competed in ANDRA Top Fuel events since 2014. Supercars In January 2022, PremiAir Racing bought Tekno Autosports' Supercars Championship team, six weeks prior to the 2022 Supercars Championship's scheduled commencement date at Sydney Motorsport Park. Tekno, branded as Team Sydney since 2020, had competed in the series since 2011 as an independent team. On the 21st of June 2022, PremiAir Racing terminated the contract of Garry Jacobson effective immediately after the Darwin Triple Crown. Chevrolet ( ), colloquially referred to as Chevy and formally the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors Company, is an American automobile division of the American manufacturer General Motors (GM). The 2022 Sydney SuperNight (known for commercial purposes as the 2022 Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight) was a motor racing event held as a part of the 2022 Supercars Championship from Saturday 5 March to Sunday 6 March 2022. The 2023 Supercars Championship (known for commercial reasons as the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship) is an ongoing motor racing series for Supercars Championship, Supercars. It is the twenty-fifth running of the Supercars Championship and the twenty-seventh series in which Supercars have contested the Australian Touring Car Championship, the premier title in Australian motorsport. The 2023 season saw the introduction of Gen3, a revision to the sport's technical regulations. The 2022 Adelaide 500 (known for commercial reasons as the 2022 VALO Adelaide 500) was a motor racing event for the Supercars Championship held from Thursday 1 December through to Sunday 4 December 2022. 2022 Bathurst 1000
The 2022 Bathurst 1000 (known as the 2022 Repco Bathurst 1000 for commercial reasons) was a motor racing event for Supercars held on the week of 6 to 9 October 2022. It hosted the eleventh round of the 2022 Supercars Championship. It took place at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia and featured a single 1000 kilometre race. Shane van Gisbergen and Garth Tander claimed their second and fifth event Bathurst 1000 victory respectively, in a Triple Eight Race Engineering run Holden Commodore ZB. It was Holden's 36th and final win in their final start at the Bathurst 1000.
