2023 Supercars Championship
The 2023 Supercars Championship (known for commercial reasons as the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship) is an ongoing motor racing series for Supercars Championship, Supercars. It is the twenty-fifth running of the Supercars Championship and the twenty-seventh series in which Supercars have contested the Australian Touring Car Championship, the premier title in Australian motorsport. The 2023 season saw the introduction of Gen3, a revision to the sport's technical regulations. These regulations were designed to cut costs for competitors by introducing more standardised components to the cars and redesigning the chassis to favour coupé body shapes. Shane van Gisbergen and Triple Eight Race Engineering entered the season as defending Drivers' and Teams' Champions respectively. 2023 Super2 Series
The 2023 Dunlop Series was an Australian motor racing competition for Supercars Championship, Supercars as a support series. It was the twenty-fourth running of the Super2 Series, Supercars Development Series, the second tier of competition in Supercars racing. Since joining as a class in 2021 this marks at the same time as the sixteenth running of the Super3 Series, the third tier of competition in Supercars racing (Officially in 2019 as the Kumho Tyre Super3 Series). It was the first year that the Super2 class will run the Gen2 cars (Holden Commodore ZB and Ford Mustang GT), while the Super3 class ran the older Project Blueprint and Car of the Future vehicles. The Super2 Class was won by Kai Allen in a Holden ZB Commodore, while the Super3 class was won by Jobe Stewart in a Holden VF Commodore. Macauley Jones (born 8 October 1994) is an Australian racing driver who competes in the Repco Supercars Championship, driving a Holden Commodore ZB for Brad Jones Racing. Son of Brad, nephew of Kim and cousin of Andrew, Jones comes from a family with a large history in Australian motorsport. Matt Stone Racing
Matt Stone Racing is an Australian racing team competing in the Supercars Championship with two Holden ZB Commodores. Jack Le Brocq drives the No. 34 car, while Todd Hazelwood drives the No. 35 car. They are also competing in the second-tier Dunlop Super2 Series with Aaron Seton and Ryal Harris. Dylan O'Keeffe (born 4 February 1998) is an Australian racing driver currently competing in the TCR Australia Touring Car Series with Garry Rogers Motorsport, driving the No. 8 Peugeot 308. Tim Slade (born 3 August 1985) is an Australian racing driver who competes in the Repco Supercars Championship. Slade currently drives the No. 3 Ford Mustang GT for Blanchard Racing Team. Early career Slade first appeared at a national level racing in the 2003 Australian Formula Ford Championship. PremiAir Racing is an Australian motor racing team competing in ANDRA Top Fuel and the Supercars Championship. The team is owned by Peter Xiberras, the managing director of PremiAir Hire and himself a Top Fuel drag racing champion. Scott Robert Pye (born 8 January 1990) is an Australian professional racing driver. He currently competes in the Repco Supercars Championship, and drives the No. 20 Holden ZB Commodore for Team 18. Racing career Early days Pye started out in go-karts, winning six state championships. Mark "Frosty" Winterbottom (born 20 May 1981) is an Australian professional racing driver. He currently competes in the Repco Supercars Championship, driving the No. 18 Holden ZB Commodore for Team 18. David Russell (born 4 January 1982) is an Australian racing driver. Russell has competed in the Repco Supercars Championship intermittently since 2003 and is now an endurance co-driver in the Pirtek Enduro Cup with Erebus Motorsport in a Holden Commodore (ZB), alongside Brodie Kostecki.
