Pranitha Vardhineni is an Indian Recurve Archer. Early years Pranitha Vardhineni was introduced to archery during her school years at thRural Development Foundations Kalleda Rural School in Warangal District, Telangana State, India. It was from here that she won a Bronze medal at the National Sub-Junior Archery Championships in 2004. This notable win led to her selection into the prestigious Tata Archery Academy in Jamshedpur, India. Employment Pranitha Vardhineni was employed at the Indian railways, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Since 2013, she has been working as an Archery Coach with thSports Authority of India She is currently posted at the Sports Training Centre in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Kwon Un-sil (born September 17, 1983 in Hamhung, South Hamgyong) is an athlete from North Korea who competes in archery. 2008 Summer Olympics At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing Kwon finished her ranking round with a total of 656 points. This gave her the 5th seed for the final competition bracket in which she faced Najmeh Abtin in the first round, beating the archer from Iran with 106–96. In the second round she was too strong for Pranitha Vardhineni with 106-99 and via Aida Román (105-100) she achieved her place in the quarter final. There she eliminated another Mexican, Mariana Avitia with 105-99 to go on to the semi final. In the semi final Kwon was unable to beat first seed Park Sung-hyun who won the match 109–106. Bombayla Devi Laishram (born 22 February 1985) is an Indian archer. A member of the national recurve team representing India at the international events since 2007, she has won a silver medal at the World Archery Championships, and four gold, five silver, and four bronze medals at various editions of the Archery World Cup. Laishram peaked at no. 14 in the world rankings in March 2009. Born in Imphal East, Manipur, Laishram began playing archery at the age of 11 and joined the Sports Authority of India under the guidance of her father.
