Pran Kurup
Pran Kurup (3 October 1966 – 3 September 2016) was an Indian entrepreneur and author. Personal life Pran Kurup was born in Chennai to K. Madhava Kurup and Sarojini, who hailed from Kannur. He was the nephew of K. P. P. Nambiar. He completed his graduation in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and post-graduation in Robotics from Miami University. Entrepreneur and author Pran Kurup co-founded Vitalect with Taher Abbasi and Ricky Bedi, an e-learning company based in California in 1997. The company was originally called ByteK Designs Inc. and renamed to Vitalect in 1999. He also served as the president of the Silicon Valley Indian Professionals Association (SIPA). Kurup authored three books. The first two books were on technical topics. He co-authored Logic Synthesis Using Synopsys' with Taher Abbasi. Arvind Kejriwal
Arvind Kejriwal (Hindi: ɾʋin̪d̪ ked͡ʒɾiːʋaːl born 16 August 1968) is an Indian politician, former bureaucrat, and activist who is the 7th and current Chief Minister of Delhi since February 2015. Currently, he is the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party, which won the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections with a historic majority, obtaining 67 out of 70 seats. He was also the Chief Minister of Delhi from December 2013 to February 2014, stepping down after 49 days of assuming power. The Aam Aadmi Party (; AAP) is a political party in India, as one of the national political parties. The AAP was founded in November 2012 by Arvind Kejriwal and his then-companions following the 2011 Indian anti-corruption movement, popularly known as Anna Andolan. The AAP is currently the ruling party of two governments: Delhi, the capital territory of India, and the state of Punjab. The party's election symbol is a broom.
