Poul Hansen
Hans Christian Poul Hansen (27 February 1913 – 13 August 1966), simply known as Poul Hansen, was a Danish politician, who served as Defence Minister of Denmark from 1956 to 1962 and Danish Minister of Finance from 1962 to 1965. He represented the Social Democrats in the Folketinget parliament for 21 years. Poul Krebs (born 28 May 1956 in Aarhus, Denmark) is a Danish pop/rock singer, songwriter and musician. He has released 23 albums and compilations, several topping the Danish Albums Chart. Krebs grew up in Aarhus and was in his youth a talented handball player with IK Skovbakken main team. From his childhood, he was also involved in music forming his own band singing various covers. His main studio album, ''Fri som et forår'' (1990) was produced by the experienced English producer Greg Walsh. He moved with his girlfriend and future wife Ulla to Amsterdam where she was a choreographer. He composed the lyrics and music for the album ''Små Sentationer'' with one of his biggest hits "Sådan nogle som os" which was his real breakthrough in 1995. Poul Kjærholm
Poul Kjærholm (1929 – 1980) was a Danish designer. Born in Østervrå, Denmark, Kjærholm began his career as a cabinetmaker's apprentice with Gronbech in 1948, attending the Danish School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen in 1952. In 1953, he married Hanne Kjærholm who became a successful architect. While working as a designer, he also became an educator continuing studies with Prof. Erik Herløw and Prof. Palle Suenson. Life From the mid-1950s he worked for his friend Ejvind Kold Christiansen, for whom he produced an extensive range of his furniture. Poul Ove Jensen (born 10 March 1937) is a Danish architect. He is the director of the bridge department at Dissing+Weitling. He was responsible for the design of over 200 bridges in 30 countries. Biography Poul Ove Jensen was born on 10 March 1937 in Kauslunde, Denmark. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture. Career Jensen was employed by Arne Jacobsen from 1963-1971, and joined Dissing+Weitling in 1972. He became a partner in 1986. Along with Pouli Hoffgård Møller, he was the firm's project manager for the Great Belt Fixed Link. The work is a Danish Culture Canon. Jensen also participated in the design of the Øresund Bridge, linking Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmö, Sweden as well as the Stonecutters Bridge in Hong Kong. Poul Hübertz (born 21 September 1976) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a forward. He previously played for a number of Danish clubs, including Farum BK, Herfølge BK, AaB, and FC Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga, and has also represented English football clubs Millwall and Northampton Town. Poul Erik Eggert Hultberg (27 March 1920, in Tryggelev, Denmark – 25 July 2016, in Gothenburg, Sweden) was a Danish architect, who worked primarily in Gothenburg, Sweden. Poul Christian Holst (21 January 1776 – 7 August 1863) was a Norwegian government official who held several positions in the period 1814–1848. Holst led negotiations over debt with Denmark in 1817, after the dissolution of the union between the two countries in 1814. Biography Holst was born at Røyken in Buskerud, Norway. Poul Richard Høj Jensen "PRHJ" (born 2 June 1944) is a Danish sailor, boatbuilder, sailmaker and Olympic champion. PRHJ lives with his wife Sophia alternating in Burnham on Crouch and Freetown, Antigua and Barbuda. Personal life Married with two children, two step children; seven grand children to date. Trained in mechanical engineering. Professional career After completing National Service in the Danish Navy, PRHJ worked for Paul Elvstrøm and Hans Fogh in the sail, mast and boatbuilding business.
