Joachim Posener
Joachim Ralph Posener, (born 17 January 1964 in Lidingö) is a Swedish financier and author. Posener is a lawyer by educated who was active in the Swedish finance trade from the late 1980s to the end of the 1990s. He became publicly known in November 1997 after having been accused by the media as being the mastermind behind Jonathan Guinness, 3rd Baron Moyne, Lord Moynes acquisition of the Swedish publicly traded company Trustor AB. The company acquisition, which later become known as the Trustor affair eventually ended with one of Lord Moynes "Team" members, Thomas Jisander, being sent to a prison term. When Swedish police acted against Lord Moyne and his "team" in October 1997 Posener happened to be abroad, and he chose then according to his own statements to not return to Sweden. This became very well publicized in Swedish media and also led to Posener being hand down an international arrest warrant. Jill Posener
Jill Posener (born 1953) is a British photographer and playwright, known for her exploration of lesbian identity and erotica. Early life and education Posener was born in Greenwich, London, in the United Kingdom. She was educated as a stage manager at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Work In 1976, Posener became the first female member of the Gay Sweatshop, England's first professional gay theatre company, for which she authored the play, ''Any Woman Can.'' The show was a reflection on Posener's own experience coming out as a lesbian, was the first female-authored play to be produced by the company. In the 1980s, Posener switched mediums, taking up photography. Her images of graffiti with political, feminist, lesbian, and anti-consumerist themes were collected in two books, ''Spray it Loud'' (1982) and ''Louder than Words'' (1987). Julius Posener (4 November 1904, Lichterfelde – 29 January 1996, Berlin) was a German architectural historian, author and higher education teacher. Coming from a bourgeois-Jewish background, son of the painter Moritz Posener and a daughter of the real estate developer Oppenheim, Julius Posener grew up in the middle-class environment in the architecturally stimulating Berlin villa colony Lichterfelde-West. His parents had built themselves a villa in the English country home style there as founders of progressive architecture. This environment had lastingly formed him from his own statement: Posener's way of life and activity would be formed strongly through the break of the felt ideal and the succeeding Third Reich. Alan Posener
Alan Posener (born 8 October 1949 in Hampstead, London) is a British-German journalist. He is the son of the architectural historian Julius Posener. Biography Posener is the son of a liberal German-Jewish family, while his mother is of Scottish-English ancestry. He grew up in England, Malaysia and Germany. He studied German studies and English at the Free University of Berlin and the Ruhr University of Bochum. During this period he served as Executive of the Communist Students Association and the Maoist Communist Party. On graduation, Posener worked as a teacher at the Kant-Gymnasium (Berlin) and at the Martin Buber Comprehensive School in Berlin-Spandau. Paule Posener-Kriéger
Paule Violette Posener-Kriéger (18 April 1925 - 11 May 1996) was a French Egyptologist who was director of the Institut français d'archéologie orientale from 1981 to 1989. While in Abusir, she excavated the pyramid complex of Neferefre where she discovered the Abusir Papyri, a significant ensemble of documents dating to the later Fifth Dynasty of Egypt which she translated, a pioneering work for which she is best known. While in Abusir, she also unearthed several statues of the pharaoh Neferefre, among the best examples of royal statuary of the Fifth Dynasty. In 1960 she married another French Egyptologist, Georges Posener, who died in 1988. She survived him eight years, dying in 1996. Ninjak
Ninjak is a fictional superhero appearing in comic books published by Valiant Comics. The original incarnation of the character was created by Mark Moretti and Joe Quesada, The character was first introduced as a ninja and spy in the Valiant Comics series ''Bloodshot'' in July, 1993. His appearance in that series served to encourage interest ahead of his own self-titled series, which began in November that same year (although ''Ninjak'' vol. 1 #1 has a cover date of February, 1994). Acclaim Entertainment bought out Valiant Comics in 1996, after which Ninjak and other characters were rebooted. The Acclaim ''Ninjak'' series lasted only a year.
