Joachim Posener
Joachim Ralph Posener, (born 17 January 1964 in Lidingö) is a Swedish financier and author. Posener is a lawyer by educated who was active in the Swedish finance trade from the late 1980s to the end of the 1990s. He became publicly known in November 1997 after having been accused by the media as being the mastermind behind Jonathan Guinness, 3rd Baron Moyne, Lord Moynes acquisition of the Swedish publicly traded company Trustor AB. The company acquisition, which later become known as the Trustor affair eventually ended with one of Lord Moynes "Team" members, Thomas Jisander, being sent to a prison term. When Swedish police acted against Lord Moyne and his "team" in October 1997 Posener happened to be abroad, and he chose then according to his own statements to not return to Sweden. Lidingö
Lidingö, also known in its definite form ''Lidingön'' and as ''Lidingölandet'', is an island in the inner Stockholm archipelago, northeast of Stockholm, Sweden. In 2010, the population of the Lidingö urban area on the island was 31,561. It is the seat of government of the Lidingö Municipality, Stockholm County. Lidingö's qualities have attracted affluent residents such as Björn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Fältskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson of ABBA. Jonathan Guinness, 3rd Baron Moyne
Jonathan Bryan Guinness, 3rd Baron Moyne (born 16 March 1930), is a British peer and businessman. A member of the Guinness family, he is the elder of the two sons of Bryan Guinness, 2nd Baron Moyne, and his first wife Diana Mitford (later Lady Mosley). Until his retirement, he was a merchant banker with Messrs Leopold Joseph. Early life Guinness was educated at Eton College and the University of Oxford. He worked as a journalist and then as a merchant banker. From 1970 to 1974 he was a Leicestershire County Councillor. Conservative Party Guinness stood twice unsuccessfully as a parliamentary candidate for the Conservative Party, at both the 1973 Lincoln by-election (notable for the election of Dick Taverne) and the 1976 Coventry North West by-election. Trustor Affair
The Trustor affair involved the takeover in the summer of 1997 of a Swedish investment company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. It was initially believed that following the takeover 600 million SEK had disappeared from the company's accounts.Trustor ABs annual report 1997 Later, when all assets had been accounted for and the company had been liquidated, the shareholders had almost doubled the value of their shares as an indirect result of the takeover. It is one of the largest financial cases in Swedish history. TV3 (''TV tre'') is a Swedish pay television channel owned by Viaplay Group. It was launched on 31 December 1987 by businessman Jan Stenbeck. The channel was initially broadcast across all of Scandinavia. In 1990, separate Danish and Norwegian feeds were launched.
