Port Melbourne SC is an Australian soccer club based in Port Melbourne, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. The club was formed in 1968 by local Greek Australians, and was promoted over the years to the Victorian Premier League in 1994. It spent the years 1994–2003 in the Victorian Premier League, winning the minor premiership twice, but was unable to secure the title during its time in the VPL. Dockerty Cup
The Dockerty Cup is an annual association football knock-out competition open to all Victorian clubs across the Victorian football league system. The tournament is named after the former president of Football Federation Victoria Harry Dockerty. Since 2014 the Cup is also a qualifying competition for the FFA Cup, now known as the Australia Cup, where the four finalists enter the competition proper at the round of 32. The Dockerty cup winner also qualifies to the next season's FV Community Shield, in a one-off match against the current NPL Victoria champion. Lambros Honos
Lambros Honos (Greek: Lampros Chonos, Λάμπρος Χώνος) (born 16 February 1983) is a Greek Australian footballer playing for Bentleigh Greens in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. Club career Honos began his career as a junior at Port Melbourne SC before heading to Greece to start his senior career. After several years in the lower divisions, he then joined Egaleo F.C. ahead of the 2005-06 Alpha Ethniki season where he made 5 appearances in the Greek top-flight. 2015 FFA Cup
The 2015 FFA Cup was the second season of the FFA Cup, the main national soccer knockout cup competition in Australia. 32 teams began competition in the competition proper (from the round of 32), including all 10 A-League teams, the reigning National Premier Leagues Champion (North Eastern MetroStars from South Australia), and 21 Football Federation Australia (FFA) member federation teams determined through individual state-based preliminary rounds. 2015 marks the first season in which teams from all nine FFA member federations participate, with the Northern Territory participating for the first time. 2015 National Premier Leagues
The 2015 National Premier Leagues was the third season of the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition. The league competition was played amongst eight separate divisions, divided by FFA state and territory member federations. The divisions are ACT, NSW, Northern NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia. Adrian Zahra (born 24 September 1990) is an Australian professional footballer who plays for National Premier League club Heidelberg United. Career Melbourne Knights Zahra started his career being coached by Billy Vojtek in the youth system of Melbourne Knights before progressing to the senior side for the 2007–08 season. Shaun Kelly (born 11 December 1988) is a professional footballer who plays for City of Liverpool in the Northern Premier League. Alan Kearney
Alan Kearney (born 11 August 1987) is a footballer who currently plays in the National Premier Leagues Victoria 2, Australia. Kearney joined the Everton F.C. academy in 2003 from Maymount Celtic and represented the club at Under 17, Under 18, Under 19 and Reserve level. In February 2007 he joined League Two side Chester City on loan from Everton.
