TS Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała () is a football club based in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. They currently compete in the I liga, the second tier of Polish football. History The club was essentially founded on 11 July 1997, although it can trace its roots back to 1907. That year ''Bielitzer Fussball Klub'' (''FK Bielitz'') was established, in the town of Bielitz, Austria-Hungary, then dominated by ethnic Germans and so was the club. In 1911, the club was renamed to ''Bielitz-Bialaer Sport Verein'' (''BBSV''). Since 1920, the town, known henceforth as Bielsko, belonged to Poland, after the country regained independence. In 1936, the club changed its German name to Polish ''Bielsko-Bialskie Towarzystwo Sportowe Bielsko'' (''BBTS Bielsko''). In 1968, it was merged with ''KS Włókniarz'' (founded in 1911). Lechia Gdańsk
Lechia Gdańsk () is a Polish football club based in Gdańsk. The club was founded in 1945 by people expelled from Lwów, who were supporters of Poland's oldest football team Lechia Lwów, founded in 1903. The club's name comes from Lechia, a poetic name for Poland, and is a continuation of the name used by the club based in Lwów. In their early years, Lechia enjoyed some success, most notably finishing third in the Polish top division, before spending decades in the second and third tiers. In the early 1980s, Lechia won the Polish Cup, the Polish SuperCup, and played in a European competition for the first time. Tomasz Neugebauer (born 8 May 2003) is a Polish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała, on loan from Lechia Gdańsk. Career Early years Neugebauer started his career playing in the youth sides of his local team Odra Wodzisław, Odra Centrum Wodzisław Śląski. After more than a decade with Odra, Neugebauer joined the youth sides of Ruch Chorzów. With Ruch, Neugebauer progressed to the first team in 2020, making his debut in the III liga on 8 August against Foto-Higiena Gać. Daniel Mikołajewski (born 25 August 1999) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała. Club career Mikołajewski's footballing career started with Podbeskidzie at the age of 16. Despite being one of the youngest in the Podbeskidzie squad, he was often in the starting eleven with the team being in the I liga. Tomasz Jodłowiec (; born 8 September 1985) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała. Club career Jodłowiec was born in Żywiec.
