Piero Chiambretti
Piero Chiambretti (born 30 May 1956) is an Italian television presenter. Biography Born on 30 May 1956 in Aosta to Felicita Chiambretti, an 18-year-old single mother, he grew up in Turin. He later moved to Bologna, where he studied Arts, Music and Entertainment. During his studies, Chiambretti also presented some cabaret shows and worked as a tourist resort entertainer. His first TV appearance was in 1977, when he co-presented the show ''Non siamo gazzose'' with Erik Colombardo, aired by Grp, a local TV channel broadcast in Piedmont only. In 1982, he started working in RAI, appearing in some shows for kids. Starting from 1988, he was part of the cast of the TV show ''Va Pensiero'', broadcast by Rai 3. This experience allowed him to receive a Telegatto for Revelation of the Year. Sylvie Lubamba (born ''Renée Sylvie Lubamba'' on 29 February 1972) is an Italian model, showgirl and TV presenter. Biography Lubamba was born in Florence to parents from Kinshasa. She studied in a Piarists College and in 1992 was elected ''Miss Toscana''. ''Striscia la notizia'' () is an Italian satirical television program on the Mediaset-controlled Canale 5. Founded in 1988, it is meant to be a parody of the daily news, which airs right before the program, but ''Striscia'' also satirizes government corruption and exposes scams with the help of local reporters who are also comedians. The program is created by Antonio Ricci and is hosted by two major comedians. The name of the show literally translates in English as "The News Slither". Gabibbo Gabibbo, an Italian cultural icon, is the red mascot of the TV show, with a strong Genoa accent. Pippo Baudo
Giuseppe Vittorio Raimondo Baudo (born 7 June 1936), known as Pippo Baudo, is one of the most famous Italian television presenters, with a career spanning six decades. He is often nicknamed "Superpippo" (referencing the Italian name of Super Goof). Baudo has also been the artistic director and president of the Teatro Stabile di Catania. Career Baudo was born in Militello in Val di Catania. While studying law at the University of Catania, he became involved in entertainment as an actor and host. He also learned to play the piano. He graduated with a degree in law, despite his interest in entertainment. At the end of the 1950s, he became a singer and pianist for Orchestra Moonlight.
