Pidbuzh
Pidbuzh ( uk, Підбуж) is a Populated places in Ukraine#Rural settlements, rural settlement in Drohobych Raion of Lviv Oblast in Ukraine. It is located in the Carpathian Mountains, at the banks of the Bystrytsia Pysmenytska, a right tributary of the Dniester. It belongs to Skhidnytsia settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Until 26 January 2024, Pidbuzh was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Pidbuzh became a rural settlement. Economy Transportation The settlement is connected by roads with Drohobych, as well as with Sambir where there is access to Highway H13 (Ukraine), Highway H13 connecting Lviv with Uzhhorod. Drohobych Raion
Drohobych Raion ( uk, Дрогобицький район, translit: ''Drohobytskyi raion'') is a raion (district) of Lviv Oblast (region) of western Ukraine. Its administrative center is Drohobych. Population: . On 18 July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Lviv Oblast was reduced to seven, and the area of Drohobych Raion was significantly expanded. Populated places in Ukraine are systematized into two major categories: urban and rural. Hromada
A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality. It was established by the Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. Similar terms exist in Poland (''gromada'') and in Belarus (''hramada''). The literal translation of this term is "community", similarly to the terms used in western European states, such as Germany ('' Gemeinde''), France (''commune'') and Italy (''comune''). Drohobych
Drohobych ( uk, Дрого́бич, ; pl, Drohobycz; yi, דראָהאָביטש;) is a city of regional significance in Lviv Oblast, Ukraine. It is the administrative center of Drohobych Raion and hosts the administration of Drohobych urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. In 1939–1941 and 1944–1959 it was the center of Drohobych Oblast. The city was founded at the end of eleventh century as an important trading post and transport node between Kyiv Rus' and the lands to the West of Rus'.
