Philippine Football Association
The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) is the governing body of association football in the Philippines. Established as the Philippine Amateur Football Association (PAFA) in 1907, the PFF is one of the oldest national football associations in Asia and is among the founding members of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The PAFA reorganized as the Philippine Football Association (PFA), and later as the Philippine Football Federation. Aside from being a member of the AFC, the PFF is also a member of the ASEAN Football Federation. It is recognized as the national sports association (NSA) for the sport of football in the Philippines by Philippine Olympic Committee. It organizes the Philippines men's, women's and youth national football teams (as well as national teams for the football variants of futsal and beach soccer). Pasig, officially the City of Pasig ( fil, Lungsod ng Pasig), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 803,159 people. It is located along the eastern border of Metro Manila with Rizal province, the city shares its name with the Pasig River. The Far Eastern Championship Games (also known as the Far Eastern Championships, Far Eastern Games or Far East Games) was an Asian multi-sport event considered to be a precursor to the Asian Games. History In 1913, Elwood Brown, president of the Philippine Amateur Athletic Association and Manila Carnival Games, proposed the creation of the "''Far Eastern Olympic Games''" to China and Japan. It was at that time that Governor-General William Cameron Forbes was the president of the Philippine Amateur Athletic Federation from 1911-1913. Governor-General Forbes formed the Far Eastern Olympic Association. Juan Cutillas
Juan Cutillas España is a retired Spanish professional footballer and manager. He is a former manager of the Philippines national football team. Education Cutillas studied medicine against the wishes of his father who had wanted him to enter law school. After finishing medical school, Cutillas became a doctor and practiced medicine for four years. He later took football coaching courses. Football career Club Cutillas played for the youth team of Atletico de Madrid. When called up to join the first team, he was forced to decline the offer because he was engaged in compulsory military service at the time.
