The Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR) is a private, non-sectarian, coeducational secondary and higher education institution located in Quiapo, Manila, Philippines. It is currently led by Ma. Angelica Lei Bautista as president. History Former Supreme Court Justice Felix Angelo Bautista founded the Philippine College of Criminology in 1954. It is the pioneer school of criminology for scientific crime detection and police science education in the Philippines. The school currently offers doctorate, master and bachelor's degrees in criminology, and high school diploma. It also conducts review classes for Licensure Examinations in Criminology. John Marvin Cruz Nieto (born February 22, 1977), popularly known by his stage name Yul Servo Nieto or simply Yul Servo, is a Filipino actor and politician who is currently the vice mayor of Manila, the capital city of the Philippines, since 2022. Background Nieto, nicknamed "Jon-Jon" as a child, was born in Bulacan and raised in Binondo, Manila. The Manila hostage crisis, officially known as the Rizal Park hostage-taking incident, took place when a disgruntled former Philippine National Police officer named Rolando Mendoza hijacked a tourist bus in Rizal Park, Manila, Philippines, on August 23, 2010.
