Cylindroleberididae
Cylindroleberididae is a family of ostracods that shows remarkable morphological diversity. The defining feature is the possession of gills: 7–8 leaf-like pairs at the posterior of the body. Other features common to all species in the family include a "baleen-comb" on both the maxilla and the fifth limb, a sword-shaped coxal endite on the mandible, and the triaenid bristles on the basal endites of the mandible. Species of the Cylindroleberididae are found in marine areas, from shallow waters to depths of more than . Most species are approximately long. In 2006, there were 219 described species. A fossil discovered in 2003 with preserved soft parts has been assigned to the Cylindroleberididae. The fossil appears to have gills and is thought to date from . Subtaxa Cylindroleberididae contains the following subfamilies and genera. * Asteropteroninae Kornicker, 1981 **'' Actinoseta'' Kornicker, 1958 **'' Asteropteron'' Skogsberg, 1920 **'' Asteropterygion'' Kornicker, 1981 **'' M ...

Philippiella (plant)
''Philippiella'' is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Thymelaeaceae. It just contains one species, ''Philippiella patagonica'' Speg. Description It is a sub-shrub, or small shrub.Klaus Kubitzki, Jens G. Rohwer and Volker Bittrich (Editors) It is cushion forming, and dioecious (having male and female reproductive structures which develop only on different plants). It has dense, imbricate (tiled) and slightly fleshy leaves. Which are arranged in opposite pairs, linear to obovate in shape, rigid and about 1.5 mm long. It blooms in spring, with solitary, terminal (at the ends of branches) flowers. They are perigynous (borne around the ovary) and subsessile (not completely sessile, a plant stalk). They are about wide and greenish yellow in colour. They have 4 sepals, which are carnose (fleshy), with ciliate (having small hairs) margins. They also have 4 petals, which are filiform (thread-like in shape), and it has 4 stamens which are episepalou ...

Caryophyllaceae
Caryophyllaceae, commonly called the pink family or carnation family, is a family of flowering plants. It is included in the dicotyledon order Caryophyllales in the APG III system, alongside 33 other families, including Amaranthaceae, Cactaceae, and Polygonaceae. It is a large family, with 81 genera and about 2,625 known species. This cosmopolitan family of mostly herbaceous plants is best represented in temperate climates, with a few species growing on tropical mountains. Some of the more commonly known members include pinks and carnations (''Dianthus''), and firepink and campions ('' Lychnis'' and ''Silene''). Many species are grown as ornamental plants, and some species are widespread weeds. Most species grow in the Mediterranean and bordering regions of Europe and Asia. The number of genera and species in the Southern Hemisphere is rather small, although the family does contain Antarctic pearlwort (''Colobanthus quitensis''), the world's southernmost dicot, which is one ...

Elachista
''Elachista'' is a genus of gelechioid moths described by Georg Friedrich Treitschke in 1833. It is the type genus of the grass-miner moth family (Elachistidae). This family is sometimes (in particular in older sources) circumscribed very loosely, including for example the Agonoxenidae and Ethmiidae which seem to be quite distinct among the Gelechioidea, as well as other lineages which are widely held to be closer to '' Oecophora'' than to ''Elachista'' and are thus placed in the concealer moth family Oecophoridae here. These grass-miners are very small moths with the "feathery" hindwings characteristic of their family. They are essentially found worldwide, except in very cold places and on some oceanic islands; as usual for Gelechioidea, they are most common in the Palearctic however. They usually have at least one, sometimes as many as three light bands running from leading to trailing edge of their forewing uppersides. Some species, however, have upper forewings that are mostl ...

Philobryidae
Philobryidae is a taxonomic family of very small equivalved triangular saltwater clams, marine bivalve molluscs, related to the ark clams and the bittersweets. Their shells have projecting umbones and are non-nacreous. The ligament of the hinge is either completely internal or only slightly external. They have only one adductor muscle scar on the inside of each of their shells as opposed to the more-common two. Species from this family are found in most seas, in shallow to moderately deep water. This family contains about sixty species in seven genera. Species Species within the family Philobryidae include: * '' Aupouria'' * '' Adacnarca'' Pelseneer, 1903 ** '' Adacnarca limopsoides'' Thiele, 1912 ** '' Adacnarca nitens'' Pelseneer, 1903 * '' Cosa'' Finlay, 1927 ** '' Cosa auriculata'' ** '' Cosa bordaensis'' ** '' Cosa brasiliensis'' Klappenbach, 1966 ** '' Cosa caribaea'' Abbott, 1958 ** '' Cosa celsa'' ** '' Cosa costata'' ** '' Cosa crebreradiata'' ** '' Cosa filholi'' ...
