Peugeot Type 177
The Peugeot Type 177 B was a mid-range car produced between 1924 and 1929 by the French auto-maker Peugeot. With a fiscal horsepower of 10 CV, and a wheel base of 2670 mm, it competed in the same sector as the Citroën B2 and Renault KZ. The car was derived from the Peugeot Type 173, from which it inherited its mechanical components and with which it shared both its overall dimensions and, when launched in 1924, its 1,525 cc ohv in-line four-cylinder engine. Claimed maximum power output was 29 hp at 1,900 rpm. The car was available in three different equipment levels, designated B, BH and BL. A year after the launch, in 1925, of the Type 177, the Type 173 was delisted and the newer model took its place. Peugeot (, , ) is a French brand of automobiles owned by Stellantis. The family business that preceded the current Peugeot companies was founded in 1810, with a steel foundry that soon started making hand tools and kitchen equipment, and then bicycles. On 20 November 1858, Émile Peugeot applied for the lion trademark. Armand Peugeot (1849–1915) built the company's first car steam tricycle, in collaboration with Léon Serpollet in 1889; this was followed in 1890 by an internal combustion car with a Panhard- Daimler engine. Peugeot Type 173
The Peugeot Type 173 is a mid-range car produced between 1922 and 1925 by the French auto-maker Peugeot at their Beaulieu plant. It replaced the company's celebrated Type 163 which itself had done much to revive the company's fortunes in the difficult years directly following the First World War. Many of the car's technical features were highly innovative at the time. The 173's newly developed inline four-cylinder four-stroke 1,525 cc engine was the first Peugeot unit to feature overhead valve gear. Its position was ahead of the driver and it powered the rear wheels via a four-speed gear box at a time when competitor manufacturers reserved four-speed gear boxes for far larger and more expensive models. Peugeot 301 (1932–36)
The Peugeot 301 is a Subcompact (B-segment) sedan produced by the French automaker Peugeot since 2012. It was announced to the public in May 2012, with an official launch that took place at the Paris Motor Show in September. The 301 is built at Peugeot’s Vigo plant in Spain, alongside its twin Citroën C-Elysée, and has been manufactured in China since November 2013. It is also assembled as a CKD in other markets such as Kazakhstan and Nigeria.
