Peter Kotuľa
Peter Kotuľa (born 11 March 1982 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak musician and an artist. He was in the finals of Slovensko hľadá SuperStar ("Slovakia is searching for a SuperStar") in 2005, and immediately following released a very successful album entitled ''Poď so mnou'' on Sony BMG. Fusion (music)
A music genre is a conventional category that identifies some pieces of music as belonging to a shared tradition or set of conventions. It is to be distinguished from ''musical form'' and musical style, although in practice these terms are sometimes used interchangeably. Music can be divided into genres in varying ways, such as popular music and art music, or religious music and secular music. ''SuperStar Search Slovakia'' (''Slovensko hľadá SuperStar'') was a casting television show based on the popular British show Pop Idol. The show was a contest to determine the best young singer in Slovakia and was shown by the national TV network Slovenská televízia, STV from season 1 & 2. Season 3 was broadcast by private TV-channel Markíza. Slovakia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Leť tmou" written by Rastislav Dubovský, Petronela Kolevská and Anna Žigová. The song was performed by Kamil Mikulčík and Nela Pocisková. In September 2008, the Slovak broadcaster Slovenská televízia (STV) announced that they would return to the Eurovision Song Contest after an eleven-year absence.
