Timothy Persons is a US-American curator, writer, artist, and adjunct professor based in Berlin and Helsinki. Early life and education Persons was born in 1954 in Narvik, Norway and grew up in Claremont-Pomona ( Los Angeles), USA. He studied under the ceramic artist Paul Soldner, and worked as his teaching assistant for 2 years. Persons also worked with numerous guest lectures at the time, James Turrell, Betty Woodman, and Lewis Baltz. His graduate studies in Southern California were part of the joint cooperation between John Baldessari’s Cal Arts program and the Claremont Graduates Universities concept of the Open Studio as a platform to teach from. Tayler Anthony Persons (born August 31, 1995) is an American basketball player for MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza of the PLK. Standing at , he plays as point guard. Persons for Northern Kentucky and Ball State before heading overseas to play professionally. College career Persons played his freshman season at Northern Kentucky. He averaged 13.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game and was named Atlantic Sun Freshman of the Year. Following the season, he transferred to Ball State. Persons was the first player ever for the Ball State Cardinals to finish his career with 1,000 points and 400 assists. Robert Persons (24 June 1546 – 15 April 1610), later known as Robert Parsons, was an English Jesuit priest. He was a major figure in establishing the 16th-century "English Mission" of the Society of Jesus. Early life Robert Persons was born at Nether Stowey, Somerset, to yeoman parents. } Peter Taylor Persons (born September 8, 1962) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Persons was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. He received coaching and training in the junior program developed by Georgia Golf Hall of Fame member Dan Nyimicz at Idle Hour Golf Club in Macon. Persons won the 1980 Georgia Junior Championship and was the runner-up to Sam Randolph at the 1985 U.S. Amateur. He was the 1984–1985 Georgia Golf Association Men's Player of the Year. He attended the University of Georgia and was a member of the golf team. He turned professional in 1986. Persons played in a limited number of PGA Tour events in the 1980s. Joseph "Henry" Persons (January 30, 1834 – June 17, 1910) was an American politician, lawyer and soldier. Early life Persons was born near Smarrs, Georgia, in Monroe County; however, his family moved to Talbot County, Georgia in 1836. He attended the University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1855. Civil War During the American Civil War, Persons served as a cavalry captain in the Third Georgia regiment of the Confederate States Army. Seth Gordon Persons (February 5, 1902 – May 29, 1965) was an American Democratic politician who was the 43rd Governor of Alabama from 1951 to 1955. He was born and died in Montgomery, Alabama. The Dauphin Island Bridge south of Mobile is formally named for him. The Gordon Persons Building is a six floor, 60,000 square foot state government office building in Montgomery.
