Jenna Persons-Mulicka (born February 18, 1983) is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives from the 78th district. She assumed office on November 3, 2020. Early life and education Persons-Mulicka was born in Naples, Florida and raised in Fort Myers, where she graduated from Fort Myers Senior High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and another in government from Evangel University, followed by a Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School. Heather Dawes Fitzenhagen (born October 8, 1960) is a Republican politician from Florida. She represented the 78th District, encompassing Fort Myers, in the Florida House of Representatives from 2012 to 2020. History Fitzenhagen was born in Dallas, Texas, and attended Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, before moving to the state of Florida in 1987. She then attended the Shepard Broad Law Center, the law school at Nova Southeastern University. Fort Myers Senior High School
Fort Myers Senior High School (also known as "FMHS") is a public school in Fort Myers, Florida. It was opened October 19, 1911, making it one of the oldest schools in the state of Florida, and the oldest in Lee County. It is managed by the Lee County School District. The enrollment as of May 2021 is 1,944 students. The school was integrated in 1969, largely by adding students displaced by the closing of historically black Dunbar High School. Integration was accompanied by much difficulty, including a riot at the school. Many previous principals of Fort Myers High have gone on to hold leading positions in the Lee County School District, including the former Superintendent of Lee County School District, Dr. James Browder, and Director of Student Services, Richard Shafer.
