Persian Talent Show
''Persian Talent Show'' is a reality television show competition that searches for the most talented acts across the Iranian diaspora. It is a talent show that features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and other performers of all ages. The program is broadcast internationally on the GLWiZ program, and is judged by Shahram Shabpareh, Behrouz Vossoughi and Faramarz Aslani. The first couple seasons have been aired from Dubai with plans to expand to locations in Europe and North America. Shahram Shabpareh
Shahram Shabpareh ( fa, شهرام شب‌پره) is an Iranian Pop singer and songwriter. Career He started his career as a drum player in the early 1960s when he was 13. In the mid 1960s at the age of 17, he formed a band of his own named "Rebels". After the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Shahram, who had migrated to California a few years earlier, did not have the opportunity to return to his homeland. Since then, he has been living in the United States. With a career spanning 50 years, he is a popular artist in Iranian society and his concerts are well-received by Iranians all over the world. Behrouz Vossoughi
Khalil Vossoughi ( fa, خلیل وثوقی; born 11 March 1938) known professionally as Behrouz Vossoighi (بهروز وثوقی), is an Iranian actor. He has also worked in television, radio and theater. His work has earned him recognition at several international film festivals, including for Best Actor at the International Film Festival of India in 1974 and San Francisco International Film Festival in 2006. Personal life Behrouz was born in Khoy, Iran. He moved to Tehran when he was in his teenage years. He has two brothers: Changiz Vossoughi and Shahrad Vossoughi. Vossoughi was briefly married in the 1970s, to the Iranian singer Googoosh. He currently lives in Marin County, California with his wife, Katayoun "Katty" Amjadi (also known as Catherine Vossoughi). Faramarz Aslani
Faramarz Aslani ( fa, فرامرز اصلانی; born July 13, 1954) is an Iranian singer, guitarist, composer, songwriter, and music producer. Biography Faramarz Aslani was born in Tehran, Iran. He is a graduate of London University's College of Journalism and has written for several Persian and English publications since his graduation in the early seventies. Upon returning to his native country, he worked for one of two English dailies, ''Tehran Journal'' until he was spotted by the President of CBS, in Tehran. His first album, ''Occupation of The Heart'', recorded for CBS in 1977, has remained on the best-sellers chart since its debut. He also recorded a second album, ''Hafez, a Memorandum'', for the same company. In this album, he wrote music to eight poems of Hafez, Iran's, most famous poet and mystic. Persia's Got Talent
''Persia's Got Talent'' ( fa, پرشیاز گات تلنت) with acronym PGT is a spin-off of the British talent show ''Got Talent'' aimed at Persian-speaking audiences across the world, mainly in Iran ( also known as "Persia"). It is produced outside Iran and is aired on MBC Persia, part of the Middle East Broadcasting Center, since 31 January 2020. The first season was filmed in Sweden, which is home to a large Persian-speaking population.
