''Perfect Hair'' is a studio album by American rapper Busdriver. It was released on September 9, 2014, by Big Dada. The album features guest appearances from Aesop Rock, Danny Brown and Open Mike Eagle, among others. The cover art was painted by John Lurie. Music videos were made for "Ego Death", "Colonize the Moon", "Eat Rich" and "Motion Lines". On June 20, 2014, "Ego Death" was chosen by ''Consequence of Sound'' as one of their Top 10 Songs of the Week. Critical reception ''Perfect Hair'' received generally positive reviews from critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, the album received an average score of 74, based on 10 reviews. Regan Farquhar (born February 12, 1978), better known by his stage name Busdriver, is an American rapper and producer from Los Angeles, California. He has collaborated with rappers such as Myka 9, Milo, Nocando, Open Mike Eagle, 2Mex, and Radioinactive. His primary producers have been Daedelus, Boom Bip, Daddy Kev, Loden, Paris Zax, Omid, and Nobody. He has also worked with D-Styles on two albums. Biography Regan Farquhar was born on February 12, 1978 in Los Angeles, California. He was introduced to hip hop at an early age; his father, Ralph Farquhar, wrote the 1985 film '' Krush Groove''. Ben Wendel is a grammy nominated jazz saxophonist, bassoonist, and pianist who is a founding member of the band Kneebody. He has worked with Snoop Dogg, Ignacio Berroa, Daedelus, Taylor Eigsti, Gerald Clayton, and Tigran Hamasyan Career Wendel was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and raised in Los Angeles. Rituals of Mine (previously known as Sister Crayon) is an indie pop/electronic/ alt R&B duo from Sacramento, California founded in 2010, and led by vocalist Terra Lopez. History Sister Crayon was formed in 2010 by Terra Lopez (vocals) and Dani Fernandez (samplers; MPC and Roland SPD-SX). Lopez had previously performed under the names Silent and Clementine. Explaining the new name Lopez said "I didn't want to be shy anymore, and I wanted to have a name that was bolder, and a completely different alter ego." The act was a duo for approximately one year before Genaro Ulloa (keys) and Nicholas Suhr (drums) joined. Rory Allen Philip Ferreira (born February 3, 1992), better known by his stage name R.A.P. Ferreira, formerly Milo (often stylized as milo) and Scallops Hotel, is an American rapper and producer from Kenosha, Wisconsin. Ferreira received modest popularity and a cult fanbase following the release of his first two projects, ''I Wish My Brother Rob Was Here'' and ''Milo Takes Baths''. Weighted Arithmetic Mean
The weighted arithmetic mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The notion of weighted mean plays a role in descriptive statistics and also occurs in a more general form in several other areas of mathematics. If all the weights are equal, then the weighted mean is the same as the arithmetic mean. While weighted means generally behave in a similar fashion to arithmetic means, they do have a few counterintuitive properties, as captured for instance in Simpson's paradox. Standard Score
In statistics, the standard score is the number of standard deviations by which the value of a raw score (i.e., an observed value or data point) is above or below the mean value of what is being observed or measured. Metacritic is a website that aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry.
