Per Nyman
Per Nyman (born 14 February 1968) is a Swedish professional golfer. Nyman was born in Kristianstad and attended Fresno State University in California, United States, where he twice won the GCAA All-America Scholar Award. He turned professional after graduating in 1992. He played on the European Tour and its official development tour, the Challenge Tour, between 1993 and 2004. He won four times on the Challenge Tour, including twice in 1995, and finished 2nd on the Challenge Tour Rankings in 1998. He was also medalist at the European Tour Qualifying School Final Stage in 2002. He should not be confused with fellow professional golfer and two-time Challenge Tour winner Per G. Nyman. Kristianstad (, ; older spelling from Danish language, Danish ''Christianstad'') is a Urban areas in Sweden, city and the seat of Kristianstad Municipality, Scania County, Sweden with 40,145 inhabitants in 2016. Joakim Grönhagen
Joakim Grönhagen (born 25 October 1972) is a Swedish professional golfer who played on the Challenge Tour and European Tour. Career Grönhagen played 121 tournaments on the Challenge Tour 1992–2001, including one win. In 1992, he was runner-up at the Siab Open. In 1994, he narrowly missed out on two victories, losing the Swedish Matchplay Championship final to Per Nyman 1 up, and losing a playoff at the Volvo Finnish Open to Mikael Piltz. Grönhagen played on the 1995 European Tour with best finish T25 at Volvo Scandinavian Masters, ending up 138th in the season rankings. After retiring from tour, Grönhagen became a golf instructor, coaching Simon Forsström and HRH Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland. Mats Lanner
Mats Åke Lanner (born 5 March 1961) is a Swedish professional golfer, who formerly played on the European Tour. In 1987, he became the second Swedish player to win a European Tour tournament. Early life and amateur career Lanner was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, and learned the game at Albatross Golf Club, situated on the island Hisingen in the northern part of the city of Gothenburg. He was also a member at Strömstad Golf Club, near the Norwegian border, were he won the club championship at 16 years of age. After twice winning the yearly 72-hole tournament Gothenburg Open at his home club, but never been nominated to any national amateur teams, he turned professional after the 1981 season, sponsored by a member of his club. David Park (golfer)
David Park (born 25 June 1974) is a Welsh professional golfer. Park was born in London to Welsh parents and represents Wales. In 1997, he won the 1997 Brabazon Trophy and was a member of the Great Britain & Ireland Walker Cup team before turning professional late in the year. Park made his first start on the European Tour at the 1999 Moroccan Open, and led from the beginning before losing a playoff to Miguel Ángel Martín at the sixth sudden-death hole. His second event was the Compaq European Grand Prix, and he won it. Rolex Trophy
The Rolex Trophy was a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour, that is played in Geneva, Switzerland. It was played annually on the Challenge Tour since 1989. Unlike many Challenge Tour events, the Rolex Trophy has been played at the same venue, the Golf Club de Genève, every year. It is a limited field Pro-Am event. It used to feature the top 32 in the tour rankings plus four invitees, but the number of players has more recently been 42. One unusual feature was that only the prize money of the top 20 players counted towards their Challenge Tour rankings, although all entrants receive prize money. The 1998 Challenge Tour was a series of golf tournaments known as the Challenge Tour, the official development tour run by the PGA European Tour. The tour was started as the Satellite Tour in 1986 and was renamed the Challenge Tour ready for the start of the 1990 season. The Challenge Tour Rankings were won by England's Warren Bennett. Manuel Moreno (golfer)
Manuel Moreno (Buenos Aires, 1782 – íb., 1857) was an Argentine politician, brother of Mariano Moreno. He was one of the founders of the Federal Party in the province of Buenos Aires. Biography Manuel Moreno was born in Buenos Aires in 1781, and studied at "Real Colegio de San Carlos". He started to work in the colonial government by 1800, and joined his brother Mariano Moreno in his mission to London. However, Mariano died on board the ship, which inspired Manuel to write a biography of his life. He wrote them quickly, in order to be able to publish them in London, and used it as a force to promote the Revolution in Europe. He returned in 1813, and was appointed as state secretary by the Second Triumvirate. In 1817, he was jailed and banished to the United States, where he graduated in medicine at the Maryland university.
