Pekka Korpi
Pekka Korpi (born 11 November 1949 in Oulu) is a Finnish harness racing trainer and driver. With more than 5 000 wins he is one of the most successful harness drivers in Scandinavia. Since 2011 Korpi has been training and driving mostly in Sweden. During the 1980s he also worked several years in the United States and in Belgium. Harness racing is a form of horse racing in which the horses race at a specific gait (a trot or a pace). They usually pull a two-wheeled cart called a sulky, or spider, or chariot occupied by a driver.
