Pearcedale is a township and coastal rural locality in Victoria, Australia, 49 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Casey and the Shire of Mornington Peninsula local government areas. Geography Pearcedale is a township and rural locality on the northwestern corner of Western Port, in the northern extremities of the Mornington Peninsula. Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park
Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park is a biopark within the Pearcedale Conservation Park located at Pearcedale on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne, Australia. It aims to display the fauna that was found in the Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Biosphere Reserve prior to European settlement as well as working towards the recovery of threatened Australian fauna. The park is open all year except on Christmas Day. The sanctuary, as part of Pearcedale Conservation Park, is an institutional member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association (ZAA). The Mornington Peninsula is a peninsula located south of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is surrounded by Port Phillip to the west, Western Port to the east and Bass Strait to the south, and is connected to the mainland in the north. Cranbourne South is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 49 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Casey local government area. Cranbourne South recorded a population of 3,241 at the 2021 census. By 2009 the urban growth boundary had moved along Pearcedale and Browns Road, placing a large area of the locality inside the main growth area. Two large scale housing developments, Botanic Ridge and Settlers Run Estate, were established in the area which was excised as the suburb of Botanic Ridge. In 2019, development in Cranbourne South's area began with a new estate called Brompton. The Cranbourne meteorite is an octahedrite iron meteorite. It is the second largest meteorite found in Australia after the Mundrabilla meteorite, but at the time of discovery it was the largest known iron meteorite in the world. Devon Meadows, Victoria
Devon Meadows is a town in Victoria, Australia, 50 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Casey local government area. Devon Meadows recorded a population of 1,551 at the 2021 census. Devon Meadows Post Office was located at 89 Finsubury Devon Meadows and opened on 21 March 1915, and closed in 1941.The original building was one of the oldest buildings in Devon Meadows.
