Paykan Tehran FC
Paykan Football Club ( fa, باشگاه فوتبال پيکان, ''Bâshgâh-e Futbâl-e Peykân'') is a football team based in Tehran, Iran. The team is sponsored by Iran's main automobile manufacturer Iran Khodro and is named after one of its older products; the Paykan car. Paykan F.C. is the football club of the multisport ''Paykan Sport Club'' which also includes Basketball and volleyball teams. History Establishment The club was established in 1967 by Mahmoud Khayami with financial help from the Iran Khodro factory. The main objective was to promote their factory's products, and improve their reputation. They were able to lure great players such as Ali Parvin, Majid Halvaei and Amir Abedini, and several of the Persepolis players of the time. In 1969 the team became the Tehran City League's champions and the team appeared to have a bright future. Qods, Iran
Qods ( fa, قدس, also known as Shahr-e Qods, meaning "City of Qods"; formerly, Karaj, Qal‘eh Hasan, and Qal‘eh-ye Ḩasan Khān) is a city and capital of Qods County, Tehran Province, Iran. Azadegan League
The Azadegan League ( fa, ليگ آزادگان, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 ( fa, لیگ یک, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Each year, the top finishing teams in the Azadegan League are promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to League 2. Since 2016, the league comprises 18 teams. The winner and the runner-up of the Azadegan League are automatically promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League. Mohammad Ahmadzadeh
Mohammad Ahmadzadeh ( fa, محمد احمدزاده, born January 10, 1961, in Bandar-e Anzali) is a former Iranian football, basketball and tennis player and current football coach. He played most of his career for Malavan and is also the team's head coach for the third time, serving the last term for several seasons. Ahmadzadeh changed from football to basketball and tennis from 1982 to 1985. Hamid Derakhshan
Hamid Reza Derakhshan ( fa, حمید درخشان; born 23 January 1959) is an Iranian former professional football player and now manager who last managed Saipa in Azadegan League. Derakhshan played as a midfielder for a number of clubs, most notably Persepolis as well as the Iran national team. He played a total of twelve years at Persepolis and also played five years at Qatar SC and Al-Sadd. After his retirement as a player, he became manager of Persepolis, managed team from 1994 to 1995 and 1997. He later managed other Iranian clubs like Rah Ahan, Paykan, Shahrdari Tabriz, Shahin Bushehr and Damash Gilan. The 2004–05 Iran Pro League was the 22nd season of Iran's Football League and fourth as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. PAS Tehran were the defending champions.
